Right on the sea front with excellent view. Would choose this over the Best Western a few doors up which we have also stayed. £47... More

Great breakfast that keeps you going most of the day. John is a terrific host and very helpful. The cost of our stay was good value considering... More

I stayed for a couple of nights in the Chaise Guest House and loved it. The owner is a local guy called John - a really welcoming chap. The Guest House is warm and cosy and offers relaxation - the rooms are comfortable and have tea, coffee and kettle. My room had an ensuite with a hot shower and a... More

Never have I read such a load of tripe in relation to this establishment - I'm afraid you are both wrong and talking through the preverbial hole in your heids. My friend and I have been coming to this family run hotel for a number of years and never once have we encountered any of the issues and derogitary remarks... More

Just got home after spending 5 glorious days at The Chaise. I have been staying there for many years. This was the first time I was travelling with my two sisters and once again the welcome received was fantastic and room 6 gave us everything we needed in a bed and breakfast accommodation. The room was comfortable and clean with... More

Booked on the basis of the good reviews on Trip Advisor but most disappointed. Shabby is a kind way to describe it, never met 'John',rest of staff seemed to resent serving. Paid for wi-fi did not work so had to pay to use a 'dongle' as needed to use internet urgently. Whole place had a grubby feeling which started at... More

A well worn Victorian building converted to B&B rooms - and it is really in need of some care and attention, we stayed in 5 B&B locations over the last 2 weeks and this was by far and away the worst. Poor furniture, electrics, the bed mattresses had seen better days years ago. The breakfast was poorly cooked and no... More
