This was an unplanned stay because we booked it in the last minute, but wow, did we enjoyed our stay! :) The location in wonderful, and so are the views. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and the most amazing food, this is the place to be! The room was perfectly clean, and we were lucky to get... More

a delicious range of locally produced rustic Sicilian fare in a beautiful setting close to Pollina. A wonderful evening spent with family. The service was warm and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant bat also has 4 rooms.

We came here for a long lunch on a rainy Sunday in January with the fabulous Sicily Horse Tours. There was such a warm welcome from Mario and the log-fire made the dining room so cosy. The food was amazing! Simple dishes with fresh local ingredients were washed down with a very good house red wine. The portions were generous... More

From arriving to departing this was a warm, welcoming, beautiful experience with Peppe. We arrived in the dark and were welcomed with fresh coffee and sweet treats - after a couple of hours relaxing in a lovely room (cold outside) we were sat down for a stunningly simple and delicious 4 course meal with local wine and finished with home-made... This is a truly fantastic place!!! Mario and his sister Giuliana running this agroturismo are so nice that you do not want to leave at all. Full evening dinner is worth its price (which is reasonable) and it is so delicious that you think of repeating that all next day long :) Rooms are very clean and cosy. Views are... More

We stayed here for two nights, and this is a very nice villa deep out in the wild. Rooms are nice and couzy, beds are comfortables and the staff is kind. The owner Mario is very helpful, and if you are lucky he will play guitar for you, singing typical sicilian songs. But, what you HAVE to do here is... More

We came on a daytrip by car from Pollina looking for a lunch. Even if we showed up unnoticed Mario our host quickly arranged with a fabuolus lunch. Homemade vine and olive oil. Fantastic antipasto we will never forget. Setting was great with view of Pollina Mountain and Blue seaside. Our kids received gift of fruits when we left.

We travel a great deal and I have to say that this has been one of our most enjoyable experiences. The family were so warm and welcoming when we arrived and during our three night stay nothing was too much trouble. We were given a large spotlessly clean room with a stunning view over the mountains. The evenings were warm and quiet and... We arrived at Casale Margherita after an all day mountain bike ride and were greeted by Mario with a cold beer. Very nicely appointed rooms but as almost everywhere else in Sicily, the water pressure in the shower left to be desired. This was fast forgotten as Mario showed us where he gets his wild fennel and asparagus from which... More

We spent a wonderful 4 days at Casale Margherita. Our room, with a view of the magical Roman hill top town of Pollina, was splendid. Spacious, comfortable and warm we found our room to be just what we wanted. Mario and his family we more than hospitable. The food and wine were first class. This little property tucked away among...
