We booked a semi detached self catered Forest Cabin through Crystal Ski but were given a huge detached cabin for 10 people which was lego themed! It's one of the best accomodations we've staying in on a ski holiday. The cabin was fantastic as it had everything you could possibly want including a log burning fire, sauna and even a... More

We visited Geilo over Christmas and it was a m,agical experience for our family. The cabins are lovely and plenty of room all that we could possibly need, including a christmas tree and decorations. We were only a couple of minutes away from the ski slope so not far to go for ski lessons. There were ten of us, grandparents, children... More

We stayed in one of the forest cabins, fully catered, just a few minutes from the ski lift. As a family on a first time ski trip abroad this location was perfect. Ski school first thing in the morning after a cooked breakfast. All the meals were delicious, filling and with very generous portions. The wooden cabin was always warm,... More

We were a family of 6, four adults and two children and the "Type B" cabin worked well for us for the four nights we stayed in July. We had two bedrooms on the ground level -- one with two single beds and one with bunk beds. The other two bedroom were in the loft area and that's where the... More

Fantastic cottage! We had a holiday week with extended family at Geilolia Hyttetun, and stayed at the LEGO-cottage. Fantastic cottage for us traveling with children. Bedding, towels, glasses, cutlery etc was LEGO-themed. And one of the bedrooms was a room for building LEGO, it had a huge amount of LEGO! This cottage was a perfect base for our Geilo-holiday, with... More

This was a perfect base for our skiing holiday, just 5 minute walk to slopes. Lovely wooden chalet, spacious, cosy and had everything you needed. We used the downstairs bedroom (pushed twin beds together to make a double). Sauna and log fire were nice luxuries, TV was good with various international channels. Wifi not too great but then again we... More

The four of us (two adults and two kids) wanted a beginners resort with lots of snow for Christmas. And that was what we got. The semi-detached pine cabins were spacious, but also lovely and cosy, with log a log fire and small sauna. The four of us had plenty of space, with separate kitchen and lounge areas. The ski... Spacy apartments in the center of Geilo with everything you need in the kitchen. Large, private balconies. The only thing that we found very disappointing was that they advertise free wi-fi all over the area. But this is not true, it's only available in the lobby where all the sofas were always occupied... FYI: a cleanout of the apt costs... More
