Fabulous historic chateau located in a quiet area of Stotzheim. Lovely suites filled with antiques but carefully renovated. Modern bathrooms with huge footed bath and modern enclosed shower. Hosted by a lovely warm couple. Room includes a wonderful breakfast. Great value and well worth the slight detour from touristy centers.

We had the smallest room which measured 54 square meters. It was fabulous. The château has been completely renovated while keeping the original hardwood floors.the suites are beautiful and wonderfully decorated. The bathroom is very modern and very large. The breakfast was delicious and everything was homemade. We had originally reserved for 1 night but We enjoyed it so much... More

I stayed at the hotel with my daughter on a trip to Europa Park. The chateau is in France and you can take a short ferry ride over to Germany to the park. The owner was super friendly, the chateau is simply stunning. There is nothing not to like. The breakfast is magnificent.

We stayed for two nights while exploring the wine route and found the chateau to be very comfortable and a relaxing place to return to after a busy day. The host dealt with any questions and issues promptly and was always friendly and welcoming. The braekfast is Continental with homemade breads and brioches that are just scrumptious. There are no... My sister and I occupied suite Victorine for 5 days and, I can report, our stay was a dream. The chateau,- more like a grand manor house, - has been restored by the owners with great care, and is tastefully decorated. The rooms are large, the bathrooms modern and huge. The breakfast, as other reviewers have mentioned, is a delight.... More

Only one night en route to Burgundy after visiting Strasbourg was not enough but we really appreciated the individuality and period charm of Chateau de Grunstein. The huge suite of rooms was far bigger then expected and they were sympathetically restored and included a comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and advised us... More

Stayed for one night in July 2014 en route to Lake Garda In Italy and one night in August 2014 on the way home. Beautiful old French chateau, the modernised suites were huge featuring a bedroom, lounge room and bathroom, some rooms with a gorgeous claw foot bath and others with a spa bath, all with fabulous showers. The owners... More

We were 2 couples and shared a 2 bedroom suite. Being from Florida, it was like going back in time to a the distant past as in a storybook. Being a Bed & Breakfast we were in fact guests in Anne & Bernard's home and were treated as such. The home and grounds were a delight. I highly recommend a... More

This Chateau is 500 year renovated building. It was renovated with a lot of taste. The hosts are a couplethat are very kind. They prepare the breakfast themselve and they assist with anything needed. The suites are large and spoiling. Great french breakfast. We loved this place and will certainly come back. Very reccomended for romantic couples.
