My sister and I occupied suite Victorine for 5 days and, I can report, our stay was a dream. The chateau,- more like a grand manor house, - has been restored by the owners with great care, and is tastefully decorated. The rooms are large, the bathrooms modern and huge. The breakfast, as other reviewers have mentioned, is a delight.... More

Only one night en route to Burgundy after visiting Strasbourg was not enough but we really appreciated the individuality and period charm of Chateau de Grunstein. The huge suite of rooms was far bigger then expected and they were sympathetically restored and included a comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and advised us... More

Stayed for one night in July 2014 en route to Lake Garda In Italy and one night in August 2014 on the way home. Beautiful old French chateau, the modernised suites were huge featuring a bedroom, lounge room and bathroom, some rooms with a gorgeous claw foot bath and others with a spa bath, all with fabulous showers. The owners... More

We were 2 couples and shared a 2 bedroom suite. Being from Florida, it was like going back in time to a the distant past as in a storybook. Being a Bed & Breakfast we were in fact guests in Anne & Bernard's home and were treated as such. The home and grounds were a delight. I highly recommend a... More

This Chateau is 500 year renovated building. It was renovated with a lot of taste. The hosts are a couplethat are very kind. They prepare the breakfast themselve and they assist with anything needed. The suites are large and spoiling. Great french breakfast. We loved this place and will certainly come back. Very reccomended for romantic couples.

We read the recent reviews - and by doing so, loaded our expectations. But when we were there, they all got exceeded. The room - we stayed in the Georges suite - was just great and the jacuzzi bath tub topped it all. However, most enjoyable was the breakfast with local and most often homemade dishes. It was just delicious!... More

My cousin Lisa knows the owner of this beautiful "castle" in the countryside. The room was incredible (suite with 2 bedrooms and bath, living area and dining table). The breakfast was delicious and prepared from local fare. We also enjoyed some local wine, which is stocked on site. We walked the grounds and slept like exhausted children. If you are... More

We were 4 and we stayed in suite Charles. A huge space, beautiful bathroom, good size bedrooms and a very good bed. And not to forget the excellent breakfast: good bread, homemade jam, cheese and other products from local producers.

I enjoyed everything about my stay here. It was peaceful and comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful with all local food. (I loved the home made bread.) The grounds and the rooms were spacious and well kept. The owners were friendly and very helpful. I felt at home while I was there. I have nothing but happy memories. I would go... More
