Ok, so Norway is expensive, this will all know! It's a little out if the way in terms of location and although they do have a shuttle service, it doesn't run in the evenings so a cab from Solo Stavanger will cost you around 380NOK (around £38) its shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes to get there, but if you're... This hotel is designed for travellers who need a budget overnight stay. Keep in mind that in Norway budget is under $200. Stayed there this week and the price paid was $155, it is an expensive closet but you are in Norway. It is clean and very cramped. In fact you get into the bed from the bottom as there... More

For a short stay when you just need a place to sleep this is about the best value you can find in a hotel chain in most parts of Norway. Situated in business area with minimal facilities (apart from 24 hour coffee and snacks) it is good for business travelers arriving late and leaving early. It has everything you need,... More

I thought I got a bargain here but think I just got my money's worth. Over my stay all I saw was one helpful member of staff in this clean, minimalistic hotel. Scuffed and worn ikea furnishings in a cramped room pushed my questions as to what they considered a "double" to be and most of my time was taken... More

This is more of a business stay hotel or if you have friends in the local area. It is right next to a big shopping centre and plenty of busses. The buffet breakfast is awesome! probably the highlight :) and access to tea/coffee and snacks all night long. Very small rooms, we only stayed 2 nights which was fine and... More

Did I mention small? The rooms are tiny. Fine to stay for a night but I don't know about any longer. It lends itself to all sorts of jokes, like the bathroom is do small you can perform all your ablutions without moving, or you have to get dressed in the corridor because there's no space in the room. However... More

If you want to experience Stavanger nightlife and have a spacious room with all amenities you shouldn't stay here. But if you're looking for reasonable accommodation near most businesses located at Forus in Stavanger you're at the right place. It's clean, but with very small rooms. Rates are about half of what you can expect at nearby hotels (like Scandic... More

Do you need a cheap place to stay near the Sola airport and shopping center, -I recommend Smarthotel Forus! The double room was small, but clean and VERY quiet, the breakfast nothing to write home about, the staff was nice and friendly. Combined with the low price included free parking: excellent!

The Hotel itself is, for norwegian standards, pretty basic. If you are here on business trip, its serves its purpose and will give you a bed to sleep and nothing to interesting to do during the evening. I don't recommend it for romatic stay even if you are trying to save some kroner. Try to stay clear of room 430... More

I stayed at this hotel for two days. Anyone familiar with Norway knows that hotels are generally very expensive. This hotel was by far the most reasonable available in and around Sandnes. The front desk was very polite and helpful, free parking and excellent wireless connection. Breakfast was OK but not part of the nightly cost. The rooms are very,... More
