Good Hotel in Sandenes center. It's a good starting point if you want visit Stavanger and Lysenfkjrd Area ( Preikestolen, kejrag ) . I stayed with my family in this hotel and the family room have enough spaces to One the best things it was the breakfast. It was just amazing; a large buffet with all wide choice of juices,... More

We chose the Hotel Sverre when it was clear that Stavanger was all booked up! Like a previous poster, I am mystified about some of the negative comments on this thread. Our room was large, and was able to accommodate my husband's physical disabilities (plenty of room to park and recharge his electric scooter, and a easy-to-negotiate bathroom). It was... More

OK first i want to start out by saying the complaints from others are absolutely unreasonable, there was no pool, no sauna, minibar etc I mean come on what did you really expect at the price? The hotel is in a fairly central location, clean and comfortable. The rooms are fitted with 32inch tvs and all useful amenities, also there... More

Norway is the most expensive place on earth and that s fine....but frankly it s hard to find such an overpriced hotel.it looks like it s being built ,a lot of works inside and outside.not really Clean, elevator coming straight from the 60s. Average breakfast. Really anonymous room with at least a good bed. No minibar no complementary toilet products.... More

Dear niner83, Thank you for taking time to write this review. We are always grateful for feedback to get better! I understand that you were unfortunate to stay at our hotel exactly that period we had most of the construction going on; and I am sorry you had to experience our facility as a building site. In February we finished... More

There is not too many options in sandnes. In the web the hotel looks ok but except the room that was ok all the other facilities and breakfast was poor. I rate average and not poor because the room was clean and the bad comfortable. Breakfast was the worse I eat in Norway .

I stayed here for 2 nights on a recent business trip. My room was large and comfortable on the 2nd floor looking out onto the street which was closed as it is being resurfaced. So very quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. It is about 30 minutes from the airport at Sola, taxi cost around NOK 350. It is... More

I just can repeat what I said in the title: our stay in the hotel was absolutely fine for the night (clean rooms, even though time has left its traces here and there) and the breakfast (with special regards to the bad reviews I had read here before) was just amazing; a large buffet with all wide choice of juices,... I stayed here for two nights during my business trip. All started when my colleague and I were directed to our rooms in the cellar! On the way to our rooms we had to pass all the employees-only rooms and some bunker-like doors which I had no idea where they led to. Rooms were extremly hot and under ground level... More

Very basic room. No minibar. Booked a double room, got a three-bed room, so the room was really cramped. Not much space for suitcase. No smiles in the reception. The worse part was the breakfast. No one seemed to be working there. The food was placed there early, and looked dry and overcooked and was not replaced when it was... More

Stayed here in for 2 nights in December. The hotell have seen its better days a few years ago. Staff are okay but surfing Facebook so everyone can see in the reception is not ver professional. Rooms are freezing and I had my hat in when in the room.
