We stayed here one night prior to our departure from Haugesund airport. The room is reasonable size, clean, had plenty of electrical outlets, kettle and was quiet. Shower had good pressure and was hot. The breakfast is very good with large selection of cheeses, ham, breads and hot food ie baked beans, eggs etc. The location is a bit out... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. It looks a bit outdated from the outside, but the rooms were nice, bathrooms could use an update but were still good. Had a balcony that overlooked the garden and onward to the sea. The bar was nice (It's Norway, so everywhere is expensive) and breakfast was of that expected from raddison blu. It's a... More

In need of refurbishment of rooms and corridors. Smallish bedroom with a floor to ceiling 'beam' that protruded into the room. Old bathroom in outdated colour with curious black hole in rear panel to reach the toilet flush handle; a fixed showerhead over bath (no adjustment whatsoever) and too close to the wall but powerful. Evening buffet in restaurant was... More

As others have said you need a car if you stay here. Room overlooked the sea and was quiet but rather in need of decorating, like the rest of the place, Who designed a hotel with lift access 5 steps up from reception? Not disabled friendly. Restaurant only provides an overpriced buffet with one "waitress". Check in and check out... More

The room was a so-called business room, but I failed to understand what kind of business that could be undertaken there. The only electric plug I found, was in the corner behind the bed-stand, far from the chair & desk. One of the desk drawers contained an old hair-drier, named "First class" complete with souvenir hairs from a previous occupant.... More

During our stay we were very well received with friendly and competent staff. The next day we left for another hotel and the reciptionist booked the other hotel for us, even though he had no profit from doing it! The other hotel turned out to be shabby (Rovaer Kulturhotell) and so we returned here. On return (we also had credit... More

Located a few kilometers south of Haugesund City Centre, this hotel will suit your needs - provided you have your own transport. Despite going mid-week we only saw a total of 3 staff, including two receptionists (different shifts) and one lady in the breakfast room. The receptionst was trying her hardest, but we still had to wait for other guests... More

Nice basic hotel...Everything you need to be honest but not much in the area you need to be pretty fit to walk to the local city or get a cab ( which are very expensive/ starting off @£5 ). The city itself is lovely especially in the summer. It's more of a business hotel than any other.

Stayed here perhpas 4 or 5 times on business last time being 1st July 2014 - pleasant enough hotel that does the job - nothing special. The staff at reception are welcoming and the rooms are quite nice if not a little on the small side. What does let this hotel down is the meals - every time I have... More
