My husband and I recently spent 5 weeks in Drive Cottage for a sabbatical experience. We knew the cottage had the basics we wanted, but we were pleasantly surprised by the many homey details we found such as roses growing outside the window, a great lighted mirror area in walk-in closet, an additional half bath near the laundry facilities, a... We spent a week in Bridge Cottage which is in a marvellous location for walking, or travelling further afield by car to reach any part of the Isle of Mull within 1 hour more or less. The cottage is next to the road but there is very little traffic passing by and is quiet in the evenings apart from the... More

Used Benmore's facilities on a daily basis (rather than staying over night) and for sure can recommend the Estate for its helpful and welcoming attitude, especially from Donald Bissett. They really helped to make our two weeks in Mull a very happy and memorable time, and I wish them all the very best for their visitor enterprises and all they... More

We are just ending our 3 week stay in the Benmore Cottages returning for the 3rd time and already booked for next year. This time we have had a week in Bridge Cottage and 2 weeks in Drive Cottage. We cannot recommend the cottages enough - great location for exploring, welcoming cottages that have everything you need for your stay... More

This is not as billed on website as it is not "luxurious"yes it is extremely clean and has the equipment such as dishwasher etc however it is very basic and austere ,web photos are very out of date and certainly no luxuries to hand such as coffee/ tea cups, only very basic China no cleaning equipment such as dish cloths very... We have been coming to Mull for over 20 years and this is our second stay at this cottage, although we have stayed on Benmore Estate many times. As always, the cottage was immaculate. Always clean fresh bedding and towels with news ones offered at the end of week one. We stayed for two weeks. We walked and kayaked non... More

Had a great week based in this lovely cottage. It is well equipped and comfortable and had a really lovely relaxed feel to it. The kitchen has everything you would need - including a dish washer and coffee machine, but we had such glorious weather that we were out all the time! The conservatory is just a wonderful place to... More

We have just returned from our 3rd trip to Mull and our 2nd stay with Benmore Estate. We stayed at the smaller Riverside Cottage and all was first class, from the quality and standard of the furnishings, the location and the communication. Saw a wide range of wildlife in an idyllic setting. Will definitely be returning and do recommend to... More

Small, basic cottage, but very well equipped and cosy. You want to stay here just for the view alone anyway! The view out across Loch Na Keal is breathtaking. Amazing sunsets. Spectacular scenery and wonderful wildlife. Golden eagles and white-tailed eagles at the head of the loch. Otters (supposedly) on the rocky shore at the bottom of the drive. Very... More
