We checked in a little late but the lady from the kitchen gave us our key. The rooms are a bit old and the twin beds were very narrow. I almost fell out of it in the morning. The bathroom floor grouting also looked a little dirty. The restaurant and public areas are of a very high standard. We missed... More

Nice placed in nature at the countryside of Vejle but still few km to shopping and the city of Vejle. The room looks like they Haven't been renovated since 1970' and the beds are so soft that my back is hurting. The service from the staff is extremely high and the dinner and the breakfast are in high level of... More

Thank you so much for your review - we really appreciate it! I am glad you enjoyed both your dinner and breakfast, and also that you found our service excellent! I am truly sorry, though, to read that you were not satisfied with our rooms. The rooms were actually renovated only 5 years ago, so the beds should be of... More

There was little choice on the tasting menu (2 choices for each dish - we had 3 of the 5 courses). If the hotel had been in a town, we would have gone elsewhere. As a non-meat eater, the chef did kindly make me a fish dish, which was OK. Given the price of the menu, some of the dishes... More

This was our first "you....here....tonight?" booking responses on this trip! It had been awkward to revise our initial booking but our final paperwork was clear enough. It did take a while but hotel did sort things out (room at same rate etc). This hotel pops up as near Legoland, but it is a 12ml drive. Country-house style of hotel, with... More

On our way from Norway back to Holland, we stayed here at a beautiful location. Our room with 4 beds was basic and a bit small, but clean and functional. Dinner was a great pleasure: friendly waiters, authentic dishes (eg carpaccio with fennel and Danish cheese) and tasteful regional and ecological products. Breakfast was also a nice surpise: a variety... More

This was our first stay and I will recommend it to others. Great food, beautiful location. Rooms fairly basic but clean and nice. Close to legoland and the airport. A bit remote but the view makes up for it.

Hotel Haraldskaer is a beautiful old building in wonderful, natural surroundings. Upon checking in, we were asked if we'd like to book dinner, which - impressed by the interesting, 5-course tasting menu and focus on local/organic suppliers - we decided we'd do. Unfortunately, what should have been a really enjoyable meal was marred by poor service throughout. Apart from an... More

I've been over there with my kid during the trip to Legoland in Billund. The hotel is set in a very quiet place a few kilometers from Veje. The place is very nice and set deep in the danish countryside. We have been very well, rooms are clean and quite enough. There's a lot of space inside and outside to... More

Nice location but outside or with your windows open you can faintly hear noise from the road close by. Fine place for bicycle training or running with many short climbs nearby. Room is ok - but it is possible to hear when other guest closes their doors - I woke up at 2 in the night! Restaurant is fine but... More

Stayed for one night with my husband. The room was small but clean. Came after 10pm, so nice the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast: nothing fancy like abroad where there are a variety of things. Just 2 kinds of cheese, 1 kind of bread, 2 kinds of cereal, 2 kinds of juice, tea and coffee, eggs and... More
