The hotel is located about 2km outside the lovely lake-side Silkeborg. You can walk into town alongside the lakes - about 15 minutes - or the hotel seems to have some bikes you can borrow. Hotel is the usual good Scandic quality. Lovely modern rooms, flatscreen tvs, minibar and powershower. All boxes ticked. Great breakfast with fresh breads and multitude... more

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days during July 2006 - during the summer period the hotel is transformed to be very "children friendly" - one of the large meeting rooms were transformed to a playground and there were some good outdoor activities - the pool, though small, was nice an clean.
