We (me and my wife) stayed at this hotel 2 nights, early January 2016. Staff is warm and welcoming, smiling, answering all my questions (I can ask a lot ;-)). The room was great, very clean, and even our little dog was welcome with a nice little spot for food and water (we said we have a doc). We slept... More

Hotel is in a private, calm & quiet area, very difficult to find (even local people did not hear about and could not help to find the way). Rooms very small, bathroom and furniture very tired, all need to be at least paint, refreshed, refurbish ... Balcony dirty. Breakfast very poor, served on the broken plates !!!! lack of real... Dear Marzena, We always have defects and qualities. Quintessia is located in a suburban zone near the Cens river, which provide a green area away from noise even if we are 5 minutes of the ring road. Hidden by the trees it is better to have a GPS , 99 per cent of the people is equipped. Our buffet is... More

Hotel nice and in quite location so lovely nights sleep, we went swimming pool dirty and lots of hair in the pool! The hotel rooms were nice but rest of hotel seemed tired and in need of a paint and tidy up. We didn't eat in the hotel as I thought it was expensive, staff were helpful but not easy... More

I chose this hotel as a treat for my Mum's 70th and it was wonderful. Fabulous service and attention to the guests. Restaurant was incredibly good value - don't miss out on the evening meal if you're staying over. Clean rooms, modern bathrooms, marvellous and spacious spa suite that was so nice we didn't want to leave. Tram line to city... More

My husband and I, along with our son and family, which included a 4 month old baby stayed here recently for one night on our way further south. We arrived at around 5.15pm, after a long journey from Roscoff, to find our rooms not yet ready, even though we were told they would be by 4 pm. We were asked to... More

My husband and I enjoyed a one night stopover on the way to SW France. The Quintessia is ideally situated on the outskirts of Nantes and very close to the trams which take you in to the centre. It is in a quiet residential area and also has a Spa. We have stayed previously but on this occasion did not... More

My husband and I just spent 4 days in Nantes and stayed in La quintessia which we knew from a previous visit and had enjoyed thanks to the brilliant staff that work there. This time we were in for a shock as everything has been refurbished to the highest standards. It all looks beautifull, the rooms have got parquet flooring... More

This hotel is only for the SPA, not to enjoy the stay and dinner. I stayed 1 night with my boyfriend. It seemed good hotel at first, small but friendly. Room was clean and ok, but it has smell of the paint and it was paying to lock with the key from inside of the room. The taste of the... More

We chose this hotel as a stopover on the drive from Biarritz to Roscoff based on it's location just outside Nantes. It is in a quiet residential location and adequatly signposted. We booked a privilège double room with balcony which I would recommend. The balcony is a good size and contains a lounger, patio table and chairs. The room and... More

The hotel was highly recommended by the Nantes Tourist Office. However, we found the service at dinner to be poor. Our dining table had a dodgy leg and the waitress advised that we keep the beer mat jammed beneath it for stability. The main course was just ok, with my wife enduring two very different beef cuts, one good the... More
