Stayed here for one night whilst working in the local area. Despite it being away from the centre of Caen, the nearby trams offer easy access. It does appear to be in the middle of an industrial estate, but to be honest, Caen has embraced concrete with enthusiasm (unfortunately after the shenanigans of some 65 years ago). Needed a basic stop-over en-route to Le Mans for the 24 hour race. Chose this hotel because of the secure car-park and reasonable price as we were only arriving late and leaving early. Although this is perhaps more of a motel it is good value and ideal if planning to tour Normandy Landing beaches as they are a short distance away plus there is good access into Caen.It is also within 15--20 mins from Ouistreham ferry port so good for late or early ferries.We found it to be clean and quiet with a... more
