My family came here for my parents wedding present. When we arrived at the hotel it was lovely and felt like home. We went to the park as soon as possible and a shuttle bus picked us up, the shuttle buses are very handy as they pick you up and take you to the park. There was a kiddie disco... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel on our recent trip to Disneyland. It was mostly clean although the bedding is questionable..blood and strange maks on the double bed!! You get only 2 tea bags and 2 coffees and a couple of sugars in your room but if you ask at reception they happily give you more. The room is... More

We had a lovely stay here in October 2011. Our room was clean and comfortable. The childrens playarea downstairs is fantastic, after a hard day at the parks we could sit and have a pizza and a drink while the children (ages 5 and 10) played safely in the big ship and in the wacky warehouse style jungle gym. The... More

We booked 2 rooms last October/November for a 4 night stay. My son and wife, plus 3 children under 6, chose the hotel as they had "family rooms" which the Disney Hotels lacked or charged a fortune to book. My wife and I had an "executive" double room. With the 3 young children my son thought it was ideal with... More

We are from London, so its an easy pop across the channel and just before Christmas its a treat for us all to be surrounded by a little bit of Disney Dust without having to pay a fortune for the room If you take along the extra aunt or cousin this is the place to stay. Cracking Swimming pool and... More

Went to this hotel at Christmas. The rooms are a good size but the drawers were all broken, okay for a couple of days though. There were two nice flat screen televisions in both rooms and plenty of space for a family of four. Did not eat here so cannot comment on the food. The whole of Disneyland is so... More

We used this hotel as a one night stop over before going on to the more expensive Disneyland Hotel. We travelled with three children and booked a family room. Its never a good start when the receptionist is unwelcoming and unhelpful. The room was very basic indeed, although it was clean. There were no nice touches, the tea and coffee... More

we booked this hotel as it was the only 1 that had rooms for a family of 5. The hotel and room was clean and the staff were helpful and the children enjoyed the playarea. Thats the only good points about this hotel. Breakfast was a shambles, only 1 toaster and the food was very basic. People just push past... More

Explorers Hotel isn't the best hotel I've ever stayed in. But for the price and location, I have no complaints. The free shuttle comes frequently and takes you directly between the hotel, the Disney Parks and train station. It has a really cool looking swimming pool (although we didn't use it) and the free breakfast is great. The rooms were... More

We visited the Expolorer back in 2010, just before the peak of Christmas for a romantic break and shopping / Disney. It's fab for Disney entrance, you get a free bus to the park and back again, also the same for the shopping village. Really pleasant place, we didn't actually eat in the hotel but had a snoop around the... More
