This hotel was booked for us by someone else as a place to stay after a wedding. It was outside the town and on a main road and so the rooms were noisy. When we arrived we had two single beds pushed together (not an uncommon thing in France). If this had been a lovely hotel this may not have been a major problem, but we went and asked for a room with a double bed and had to stamp our feet a little to get one, which we did in the end. The room was fine, with a nice big shower and the cost was reasonable but I wouldn;t have chosen to stay here.
The town of Lons le Saunier was pretty dead as it was august and we really struggled to find somewhere to eat - not a great part of our trip I must say.
