Whilst we found the hotel good and the restaurant very good, we were dismayed to find they wanted to double charge us for the stay ! We booked through Expedia and the hotel took the room charge from my bank at this time, when we went to check out they charged us again. We had nothing on us at the... More

This was a beautiful little hotel. Situated on the river, the only noise you'll hear is from the wildlife on the river. The room was spacious and bathroom modern. Beds were comfortable. The view out the window was fabulous though. Service was pleasant and helpful. They also have a very posh restaurant for dinner, however, we did not eat there... More

We had not visited for more than 20 years, and it was nice to see the revised décor. We had a nice, comfortable room on the second floor, with a beautiful view of the river. It's a pity that the 'new' elevator only goes to first floor, but the new staircase is an improvement on the old one.

This hotel is effectively a restaurant with rooms. The rooms are really not exciting ,indeed they are dingy even the ones with a terrace overlooking the river Loiret.Frankly it does not matter as the inadequacy of the rooms is more than made up by the ambiance, the professionalism of the staff and the excellent restaurant which is a pleasure. The food... Five years since our last visit and it goes from strength to strength. The position allows them to seat you by the towpath and under the trees for your meal but they are then able to compliment that by the range on the menu and the excellence of the cooking. We received a warm and helpful welcome. The Hotel offers... More

We've been here a few times before, and still like it, as it is right on the river in a very quiet spot. Unfortunately the trees have now grown to the point where rooms on the 1st floor have almost no view of the river, just of leaves. Next time we'll try for a 2nd floor room. The we had... More

We first visited this hotel and its stunning restaurant nearly 20 years ago and we still talk about it, we returned with friends recently and were not disappointed one bit it is still a fabulous place to stay particularly if you enjoy your food, i would go as far as to say its probably the best restaurant we have eaten... it was our 3d or 4th time here, our favourite stop when driving back from the South to Belgium. excellent location on the Loirette, super environment full of walking/jogging space, beautiful nature in the area. the rooms are just acceptable, but correct and had a face lift since our last visit. but one feels just 'great' once down on the... A super little hotel/restaurant on the banks of then Loiret. Rooms could do with a spruce up but that is more than offset by the views from the balcony. The owner was most courteous as were the majority of his staff. Having ordered a lager late in the evening, the waiter took it outside to a table of my choice.... More

We have used this hotel for about 15 years. Beautfully situated on the banks of the Loiret with footpath to explore the sight of the remarkable boat houses on the opposite bank, it is also convenient for the nearby autoroute. The restaurant is exceptional and much used by local dignatories. The bedrooms are average, get one overlooking the river on... More
