We stayed here recently for two nights specifically to visit the park nearby. When we arrived there was a very large and boisterous group that had basically taken over the resort (thank goodness they checked out the next morning). The location is amazing with spectacular views of the mountains - but lots of flies and mosquitoes too. There was a... More

In quiet surroundings, with beautiful view. Very simple, but clean bungalows, but the restaurant is really worth a visit. Best in town. The restaurant was the main reason I stayed there. But its not a good walk out there by night.

We didn't stay here as our tour used the Relais de la Reine but I wanted to congratulate them on their restaurant. We did eat lunch twice and both times the food was wonderful. I didn't get a chance to look at the rooms but given the expensive Relais de la Reine down the road failed utterly to provide us... More

We stayed only one night and that was sufficient. We arrived about 6pm after a long walk in the Isalo NP which was great. We were welcomed and shown rooms which were basic and clean but acceptable and enjoyable in their quaintness. We freshened up and went up for meals in their very large restaurant. It was around 7pm and... More

We stayed here for one night in early May 2014 at the start of our trip north up the RN7. First impressions were really good and we weren't disappointed. The bungalows were lovely, really clean and well appointed with lovely polished wood floors, although not huge they were perfectly adequate. The bed was one of the most comfortable we had... More

We spent two nights here during our visit to Isalo NP, and while we were a bit disappointed about the power outages in the morning, the rest of the hotel made up for it. It has a beautiful view into the sunset, and it has a certain charm to sit at the swimming pool, holding a glass of rum arrangé,... More

We spent 2 nights here and loved this place. There were several black outs during the evening so we could not read our guide book. The views are so stunning, especially the sunsets above the rocks. We got some local rum in nearest supermarket and enjoyed the sunset, it was really romantic. We also loved the dinner very tasty and... More

This was the only hotel I didn't like during our 3 week trip around Madagascar. The room that we were in had very low ceilings and I'm only 5'3 and was very dark and gloomy and so hot at night. I also didn't really like the food in the onsite restaurant. That being said, The location is excellent for Isalo... More

I gave this hotel a 2 star even though the restaurant was very clean and the staff nice. This hotel consist of small bungalows that have updated bathrooms with a nice pool area. It did have restricted water and electricity usage which should have been explained at check-in. The generator only operates during certain periods of the day, thus I... More
