Very pleasant country pub and hotel with excellent accommodation, good food and friendly atmosphere at good value prices. Easy to find location on main road to Norwich. Pleased to see desk in room which is great for business travellers who need to work.

The overall experience was lovely with clean and tidy room. Service in booking in and booking a table great. However, meal times were spoilt by a large number of house flies which were a constant distraction when trying to eat. There were no fly zappers which could have dealt with the problem. When mentioning this to one of the waitresses... More

Visited today 21st July early afternoon had a superb meal off there fixed menu -2 courses for £10.95 plus free tea or coffee and can not fault quality or quantity. The staff were wonderful with great personality something you can't teach people they either have it or they don't and they were a credit to the inn. Can't wait to... More

On our way to Norfolk we stopped at this Restaurant/Inn for Sunday lunch. My wife had the Roast beef which she fount to be extremely chewy although she liked the selection of vegetables I ordered the Steak Pie but in the pie was 4 pieces of meat the rest was full of gravy, very disappointed. we did fill in a... Stayed here for one night. Although it is on a main road, rooms are relatively quiet. The room I had was large and airy, and the bathroom was lovely with an excellent shower. The restaurant was very good, and offered good a good selection at a really good price, especially if you choose the three course meal with tea/coffee at... More

Booked a double room at £85 per night B&B. Whilst room was large and clean and well adapted for people with disabilities there are some very odd design issues. No mirror above the tiny sink, how do you wet shave! No where to put your shower/ shampoo etc apart from the floor ! Given its summer, the heavy duvet was... More

Camping nearby on a windy night so sought out local hostelries. This place came recommended highly. As it turns out, the food was of a good quality for the price although the local habit of loading plates seems to extend here also and can be somewhat overbearing - my daughter had a chicken burger off the "light bites" menu that... We randomly stumbled across The White Horse Inn on a rainy Saturday for a mid-afternoon lunch and were not disappointed! It was pretty quiet when we got here at around 3pm on a Saturday with only a few other couples dotted around. The pub/restaurant has a very cosy feel especially on a cold and rainy day! I had the steak... More

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent price! Comfortable, welcoming, great menu,we cannot praise this place enough! We have been twice now, we had the 3 course meal with coffee tonight, we hadn't even booked! Not a problem :-) everything was superb, the food and service you receive here way exceed " pub grub" but the price is realistic! We are sure to... More

I stopped here with my elderly parents who cam be fussy about food etc We were given a warm friendly welcome. The atmosphere was good, no background music, we had the steak and ale pie, i have never tasted one like it, light mouthwatering pastry and packed with tender meat. It was to die for. Service was excellent and we... More
