We stayed for 3 nights at the Daintree Rainforest Retreat, and had a fantastic time. We were greeted by Travis, who was very friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated that he took the time to give us a quick run down on the area and recommend things to do and places to eat. Our room was just what we were... More

We checked in about 4.30pm. The receptionist was very pleasant and gene us lot of information about what to eat etc. and showed us around. We seemed to be the only guests apart from one other person. We asked if we could have breakfast and he could only offer cornflakes, toast and tea or coffee, no juice at a price... More

I am really sorry you did not enjoy your time here. We work very hard to provide our guests with the best experience possible - your review is very upsetting and, we believe, unjustified. The only item missing from the breakfast menu when you ordered was fresh juice. I managed to source some juice which I had ready for you... More

This place is exactly what it says on the tin. Stunning boutique accommodation in really lush rainforest. My husband and I spent three nights there in such a lovely cabin with everything we could have possibly needed apart from AC!!! Don't book if you can't handle the humidity of a rainforest. Although AC is advertised due to it being an... More

The retreat was a wonderful place to stay, with a beautiful setting right up close to the rainforest. There were green tree frogs everywhere and the pool was to die for!! The service was outstanding and made us feel like we were the only ones there with loads of advice and tips on where to go in the time we... More

I recently made a last minute booking to stay at The Daintree Rainforest Retreat with my Mum and my 4 and 1 year olds. The room was great with a queen, single and a couch that my 4 year old was able to sleep on and still leaving plenty of room for the porta cot. There was everything we needed... More

What a great place to get away from it all. Comfortable clean accommodation. Friendly and personalised service in the restaurant with great fresh organic and fresh food. Heaps of wildlife, lush gardens and interesting drives.

Older motel style rooms in the process of modernisation under new management in a great location. Friendly family managed looked after us well even having a glass of wine in their spare time. If your luckly your get to see the Cassowary bird that wonders the grounds. There is no wifi or mobile phone service as the Daintree is a... More

This motel has been rejuvenated to give you a quiet and individual and unique experience. Although quite old, the rooms have been done up to be cheerful and welcoming. Some rooms had self catering but our room just had en suite etc. there is a lovely lawned courtyard surrounded by rainforest where you can relax, read and have a quiet... More

We only stayed one night, and wish we could have stayed longer. The reception were very welcoming, gave helpful suggestions of where to visit and their enthusiasm for Cape Tribulation was contagious. The room was spacious, with homely touches with flowers and little ornaments, tasteful furnishings and soft covers. And being situated in the rainforest very peaceful. Would stay agin.

Stayed here overnight recently and found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, with all the usual modern cons. You are in the rainforest so don't expect anything too fancy. The lady at reception was very welcoming & friendly & I'd happily stay here again. There was no mobile range from our room.
