We love it and had 3 great nights here. Our 2 kids loved it too. A special memory.

My husband and I stayed at Crocodylys for 3 nights and had a great stay. The facilities are super and allows one to self-cater as well as have a meal at their cafe. The chalets are great too, being right in the middle of the jungle (you can't even see the main buildings). The shaded pool is a lovely late... More

Great little hostel tucked away in the rainforest. Croc Village has a wonderful eating area that's great for hanging out, reading, sending some emails or throwing a few back. They organise a great over night kayak trip to Snapper Island which I definitely recommend. The cabins are basic but its what you want for the experience. We had one of... More

I had a lovely stay here. It was great to wake up and be able to see and hear the rainforests birds and animals all around you. The staff were very friendly and the food served in the Café was fresh, tasty and good value. I managed to spot the rare Cassowary wandering around one morning, which made me very... More

We found out about Crocodylus because we wanted to do a seakayaking trip to Snapper Island (two day trip). We camped down the road so don't know about the accommodation in the Village, but the kayaking and food were great, and excellent value for money. Steve, our guide, was great; friendly and helpful. All meals were provided, from breakfast before... More

We didn't stay at the Village but we ate here 3 nights in a row as the food was so good - made each day with fresh ingredients and very reasonably priced. Excellent for families and anyone looking for home-cooked meals.

Well, I'd been here close to 20 odd years ago as a backpacker. It has not changed much and new owners Sal and Steve are such friendly hosts. The food served on the on-site cafe is still value for money and plenty of it as well as tasting great and there is a licensed bar serving my fave Coronas! I... More

Being not entirely sure what we had signed up for, our family was pleasantly surprised! The staff were extremely friendly; they showed us how to de-shell coconuts and even gave us free mudcrab!!!!!!! After staying at Crocodylus for three nights, we went to the Sheraton Mirage (5 star, $780-a-night resort) for three nights and, scarily, found that we missed the... More

My sister recommended taking a trip to the rainforest. Since she had been to Crocodylus last year, she knew the place and booked it. The moment we entered that place she said, something feels different....So it was. It had new owners Steve and Sally, who had giving it TLC. For a first time visitor, the place looked like it had... We came to crocodylus for a Kyaking trip and stayed the whole day. Steve, the guide and owner, was kind and professional, he agreed to pick us up from a different location and gave us a ride back at our own time. We were happy to discover crocodylus village with its happy vibe, good food, cheap prices and great staff.... More
