I read their Web site and thought that sounds just like a place we would like to stay and It was exactly as I expected. Sleeping in the rainforest, friendly staff, no wi-fi and self catering was easy. Their dinner and breakfast menu was great value. $15 for a full plate. Recommend to independent traveller, you definitely need a car... More

This was the second time we stayed at Crocodylus Village. Both times we stayed two nights, as always our stay was fantastic. The staff are always helpful and welcoming. The Aussie BBQ on Sunday night was delicious with plenty of food and at a very reasonable price, plus a great atmosphere. The highlight of our trip would have to be... More

Cannot recommend this enough. Stayed here in April 2014 with a mixed group of 9. Loved the accommodation and communal areas, great welcome from the hosts. Great food on offer (thanks for the veggie options!!) and wonderful wildlife. Really unforgettable experience staying in the rainforest, especially for the kids. Thanks

We stayed one night at Crocodylus and absolutely loved it. The place is set literally in the rainforest which makes for a great experience. We stayed a Sunday night so for dinner there was an Aussie barbeque on offer which was all you can eat delicious BBQ food plus drinks. The staff were exceptionally great, really helpful and friendly, and... More

Firsty, we did not stay at the accommodation we ate dinner and bbq only but we wanted to express our utter delight about this place and the people. Friendly, interested, happy, engaging people behind the bar and in the kitchen. The food was excellent and wonderful value for money. We enjoyed dinner one evening and on sunday night we had... More

We (8 friends) stayed two nights in one of their cabins, clean, cosy and with all the flavour of the tropical rainforest. Facilities were great, fairly clean ans super friendly staff. Just make sure you get there before 9 pm to be able to use the kitchen and showers.

Stayed here for 5 nights in June 2014. Terrific friendly, knowledgeable staff, good kitchen facilities, lots of board games and great to be away from phones and internet. You can use the internet for a small fee, and you can get reception at other places along the road in the Daintree. The bungalows are large - but spartan. Only beds... More

An awesome place to stay as you're right in the rainforest! Very friendly staff, great food and clean facilities. Rooms could have more furnishing. Nice outdoor dining area and the whole place has a nice friendly vibe. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed 2 nights at Crocodylus last weekend. A simply wonderful experience!! Our hut in the rainforest was simple/basic but very comfortable, as promsed. A true experience of being right in the rainforest, as promised. As Cairns locals, we have headed north lots of times and stayed in a number of places in Dainteee and Cape Tribulation, but none have set... More

Crocodylus is exactly what it advertises, a rustic place in the forest. The canvas covered platform tents have ceiling fan, a single light, but no outlets. You need to recharge things in the group dining area. The kitchen is not equipped with plates, mugs, glasses or utensils so bring a mess kit. The pool is dark and uninviting and several... More

Just a couple of notes on the above: *Kitchen Packs with crockery and cutlery are provided to guests free of charge on request on check-in (there is a big sign in the catering kitchen stating this as well) *There are currently some leaks in the big common area tarps from Cyclone Ita damage - we are like everyone else up...
