We did not stay at the Crocodylus Village overnight but enjoyed dinner at their bistro, we highly recommend it. Honest country hospitality, the BBQ night was a winner, great value for the prize. The meat was cooked to perfection and the salads were fresh with a lot of variety. We went there a second time for dinner, the beef lasagna... More

Want to experience the rainforest first hand - this is the place for you! Crocodylus Village was recommended to us by a friend and we weren't disappointed that we decided to spend a few days under tarpaulin with some home comforts. Glamping (Glamorous Camping) in the best environment you could ask for. The accommodation is basic (that's the whole point)... More

I went up to the Daintree in 2011 but I didn't think I got the most out of it, so a return trip in 2014 was the plan. Crocodylus was my stay because I'd developed a liking for eco accommodation and this definitely wasn't a regret. The staff (Maree and Darlene were lovely) were really social and helpful in making... We had a great two days here in April 2015. Steve and Sally go out of their way to make sure you get the best from your stay. We had a large cabin with our own shower & toilet. It was very basic but clean. You don't need luxury in the rainforest! Unfortunately we had heavy rain for the two... More

Had an amazing stay at Crocodylus Village. We rented the 8 person tent and we had two kids with us. Steve's a great host and also the rest of the staff. Living in the jungle was just awesome. All night you can hear the bugs and other animals. Food is good, specially the Sunday BBQ. If you are the type... More

The whole team know how to make your time with them special. The owners Steve and Sally ensured we were looked after and ensured are stay was memorable. This is a very special place in a truly amazing setting. We tried the Dawn sea kayaking with Steve which was awesome as we watched the sun rise over Cow Bay. He... More

We stayed there a few days and we loved it. Sally and her partner who run the place are very nice. It was lovely to be in a place where not even the phone has signal. The only internet connection was the one from the owners (i didn't like the fact that they would ask a fee for internet, i... More

I stayed there over Christmas and had a unforgettable time. Lovely and helpful staff/owners, fair rates and a great rainforest experience. for those, who expect the perfect accomodation and as an answer to some reviews here: this is the rainforest and very remote - you should be able to deal with a few but usual limitations there! of course there... We did not stay here but came for the yellow rope tour. It was very well done with lots of things to see. The only problem we had was it had not been maintained and many of the numbers were missing making it a bit confusing; but we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wish we could have stayed longer.
