A really great place for a night. In keeping with the general Daintree forest. Great staff, (thanks for everything, Steve, Darlene and the boys), and quirky but fun accomodation under canvas (sort of). Sit on the verandah of your donga and listen to the birds, frogs, and Irish kids from next door yell when they spot a snake. A lot... More

We stayed 4 nights at Crocodylus. It was a great experience. The location is perfect, in the middle of Daintree rainforest, to discover the park. It is cool to stay in the middle of the forest. It is also nice to get under the covers and listen to all the animals walking around and hear the birds singing in the... More

Crocodylus offers a real rainforest experience! To get to your cabin, you'll be walking through the forest. The cabins are basic but the dining/bar area is great with excellent coffees and on Sunday there's a very tasty barbecue which I can recommend to everyone!

We just spent 4 days at Crocodylus and had a great time. It is in a great spot right in the middle of the rainforest. We used it as a base for all our Daintree explorations - crocodile tours, fishing, kayaking, Daintree Discovery Centre, insect and bug museum, swimming in waterholes, night walk etc... The lodge has a lovely easy... More

We all loved our stay at crocodylus and had two great nights playing cards and laughing with our two teenage girls with no social media to compete with. Steve and Sally and their support crew have created a warm, comfortable, friendly place that blends in with the rainforest and gave us a real sense and appreciation of the natural environment.... We stayed for just one night travelling between Cape Trib back to Port Douglas as I thought the kids would love the experience of a tent in the rainforest. I'm so glad we did. This is how to run a business! Facilities are basic but the vibe of the place is something special. How they managed to feed us all... More

We stayed for 4 nights in a rainforest bungalow. It was as fantastic experience with plenty of space. As well seasoned campers it was great to have a private veranda with a view of the rainforest and private bathroom. The room consisted of 2 bunkbeds, a single bed and a double bed. All were covered with a mosquito net (which... More

A cluster of robust eco tents nestled in the rainforest. The place has few rules - pretty much 'Have fun, and while you're at it, look after the place, maybe think how heavy your footstep is on the planet in general and the forest in particular'. The proprietors Steve and Sally have the gift of making dozens of visitors feel... More

We spent one great night here. Our room was basic, but comfortable. The shared bathroom was adequate with plenty of hot water. We were lucky enough to spend a Sunday night, barbecue night. What a great deal and a delicious meal. Steve was a great host and we would definitely return.

Visited Crocodylus Village with my wife recently, for a few days. Our cabin was at the edge of the resort, and therefore we had a lovely view of the rainforest. We also truly enjoyed listening to the sounds of the rainforest. There are around at least a dozen tours related to the Reef or the rainforest, conducted in the vicinity.... More
