We very much enjoyed our recent 4 night stay, cabins simple but spacious and airy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, in well tended garden, Ed & Cheryl great hosts, provided map & information on local walks, best eateries, best swimming spots, all we needed for our stay, echo what other reviews have said, highly recommended.

We stayed here for six nights on our honeymoon and loved every minute of it! It was a great place to make our "home base" for the week. It's just a kilometer from Cow Bay Beach, which is a gorgeous white sand beach with no more than 10 visitors on it at a time. The bungalows themselves are well equipped... More

Wonderful bungalows running on solar power and rainwater yet very comfortable and in the most amazing location. Great outdoor cooking facilities - under cover yet in fresh air. Karen the manager is super helpful - lots of ideas for trips, loan of binoculars and jenga. The sounds at night are wonderful. As many coconuts as you can eat (and open).... More

Enjoyed 3 nights' stay at this restful spot. Only 4 bungalows, all well separated, and although basic ie studio type unit everything necessary for a comfortable stay was there. Karen was a wonderful host who knows so much about the area and enjoys sharing her knowledge with guests (even to inviting us to share her table at the Friday night... More

If your looking for a place to detach from technology and reconnect with your partner this place is perfect. The cabins are large and new and the photos online don't really do them justice. Buy all you need at Mossman Woolies and use the bbqs provided plus the cabin has a gas cooker and fridge with all pots/cutlery you'll need... More

We were so glad we stayed at The Bungalows on our three night stay in the Daintree, they could not have been more perfect. Karen's hospitality was fantastic, you get left alone if that's what you want or she's there to help if you need. We needed to book the snorkel trip and that was done easily and with no... More

What a wonderful place to stay -away from it all -back to nature, with a fantastic host who could not do more to make your stay enjoyable- not too enjoyable though if the weather is very hot as there is no aircon etc. Solar power and rainwater.

Karen and Don are wonderful hosts, welcoming and knowledgeable about the region. The bungalows are in a peaceful location, all you hear is the wildlife at night. We enjoyed being away from noisy roads and internet, great to switch off. This is a place to unwind and relax. The bungalows are basic but contain all you need to cook a... More

Loved the stay here. We had two nights and whilst there is no air con and internet, you aren't even bothered at that stage because it was nice to be somewhere interesting and cosy. The cabins are quite new looking and absolutely professionally set up. I never encountered pests and insects despite being warned of a few little critters willing... More

Whilst on holiday in australia my friend and i stayed here on the 7/8/9 Feb 2015 We had a brilliant time. As someone else said, try & arrive in daylight as the bungalows are tucked away in a lovely setting but our sat nav found it easily. Ed the owner has built just four cabins, two with verandahs and two... More
