Our time in the Queensland region was limited due to work commitments, so we only had a 2 night stay here. Honestly we could have stayed for weeks. There is so much to do in the Daintree, and the bungalows make a fantastic base. Ed was a friendly, helpful host who went out of his way to assist. It's easy... More

Great bungalow to relax in and escape phone reception and the internet. Comfortable, clean and great shower. Fantastic to wake up to the bird noise in the forest and owner Ed was helpful and friendly. Would love to go back one day!

As you can probably see by previous reviews and photos Daintree Rainforest Bungalows is a sure bet when looking for accommodation in the Daintree. The owner Ed is a wonderful host and over our stay with him he proved to be helpful, considerate and an all round nice guy. Several times Ed went out of his way to help us... More

Me and my wife stayed here for two days and quite liked it. The bungalows are placed in nice nature setting but at the same time well protected from unwelcomed crawlies. The accommodation is quite basic, some people might find it too basic, with not much luxuries we are used to available - no hairdryer, no internet, no microwave. That's... More

Me and my partner thouroughly enjoyed our stay at daintree rainforest bungalows, from the moment we got there to the moment we left. We booked in a hurry and had no idea the fabulous treat we were in for, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt like we were in the best hands ever, Ed,... More

We stayed in the Bungalows for 3 nights with 4 friends and had an amazing time there! The bungalows are unique and so cosy, the cooking are outside really makes you experience the Rainforest life, so unique! Ed, the owner, is a great guy and made our stay one we will never forget: welcoming us, giving us tips and tricks... More

I just wanted to say that the Daintree Bungalows is a fabulous place to stay! I was recommended to stay here by my boss and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ed the owner is very personable and welcoming as soon as we arrived. He sat down with us and took us through the hot spots in the Daintree... More

We reckon this would be one of the best options in the area. Eds bungalows are hand made and Ed himself makes a great host from the minute you arrive. After taking time to sit with us and share a beer, he ran through all of the things to do and places to eat in the area. The bungalows are... More

Eddie made us very welcome and was always there when we needed anything. His bungalows, while basic, have exactly what you need - comfortable bed and screens to keep the insects out! We loved it, nice picturesque setting, enough facilities despite no mains power, and the ideal base from which to explore the Daintree Rainforest.

The bungalows are basic but have all the things you need. Eddie, the owner, is a very good guy and does his best to accommodate guests. It is a great place to rough it. Note given how dark the area gets a night (no street lights and off the grid), it is best to arrive during daylight hours as it... More
