We spent the night here as we were passing by around the trail and wanted to stop here for whale watching. This motel is small, only a half dozen rooms, but they are very clean and nice. Ours had a kitchenette with almost everything you would want to fix simple meals. The whole place is very friendly and relaxed and... More

Just a short drive off the beautiful Cabot Trail, you can experience an impeccable view. My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner and wine on the picnic table as the sun set over the horizon. Accommodation was spacious, clean and included everything you needed to make food in the kitchen. We both really enjoyed the great hospitality from Melvin and Debbie!

As everyone else has commented, the location was fantastic. As for the room itself, I can only assume there have been some improvements since some of the earlier reviews. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfy. The T.V. now have cable instead of the one channel mentioned earlier, and I stayed in room 5 (the furthest from the... More

After travelling from Pleasant Bay we were headed south and ran into a great kid, who said there is no way we could come this far and not go to Bay St Lawrence and Meat Cove, so we turned around and headed north. We booked here for the night and it truly was a great decision. We booked our room... More

This is well worth a few minutes drive off the Cabot trail north to Bay St. Lawrence!! On the day we arrived it was foggy but the fog cleared to a clear evening. The folks here are quite nice and knowledgeable on the area. The room was clean and well stocked with a fridge stove and dishes. There are very few... More

We found this place by chance and what a wonderful surprise! Beautiful views, clean rooms and the owner was just as friendly and nice as they come! There is a beautiful beach nearby, easy access and not crowded. There is also a pier down the road and it is a rustic setting. We will definitely be back!

Truly a gem in one of the most beautiful places in the world. My wife stayed here a couple of years ago with her mother, loved it and brought me for a two night stay. The nicest, kindest owners I have ever met. Made us feel like family. Views that are worth a million dollars. I can't wait to come... More

We found this lovely place through Trip Advisor. The room was a good size and was very clean. The small kitchenette was great to have for cooking our own meals. The owners Mel and Debbie were very nice and they kept us well informed of local activities and things to see and do. My favourite thing was the view. Sitting... More

This was the nicest surprize of our trip in terms of accommodation. The rooms are sizeable, clean and the view is unbeatable! The owner [Melvin] couldn't help us enough with any questions or with suggestions for things to do and sights to see. The kitchenette had everything we wanted - we had breakfast every morning, made lunches for the day... More

This motel is a little gem that we found with help of Trip Advisor. The view is unsurpassed and we have traveled a lot. The owners Mel and Debbie make you feel that you are family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hard to get anything better than this.
