Vicky H We stayed for 6 nights on a travelsphere holiday. The courier said it was simple establishment that was an under statement. It should not be called 3 star nor any star. Old fashioned, brown depressing décor could be updated. No tea/ making facilities. Stuck out in the middle of nowhere. One good point hot towel rail, Food basic.... More

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel in June with a travelsphere holiday. To say it was basic is an understatement. Burn holes in the sheets ,evening meals which were awful with grey brussel sprouts , dirty dining room with stuffed animals and rude staff. No where to sit after the meal as the staff certainly didn t want really... More

A nice time here. This is probably the only hotel for miles in a bypassed village. Good points were - very nice breakfasts which my children loved, unusually large bedrooms, friendly staff, nice beer, public area decor interesting, local railway station and local supermarket. Very quiet location. Evening meals were 'hearty' rather than gourmet. Areas for improvements in future -... More

There was no choice for the evening meal (just like an Austrian Chalet holiday) but menu for the whole week was on view when we arrived. When I saw there was a bowling alley I was very... More

I stayed here for 6 nights during a travel sphere holiday, and stayed in room 30 yes it was quite big but the décor was 30 years old, the walls were marked and dirty there was a dirty tissue under the bed. There is no one on the reception which is at the bottom of the stairs, the foyer has... More

Stayed for 7 nights on a Travelsphere holiday. The town is a sleepy little place where not much happens but this family run hotel is outstanding. Our room(No 30) on the first floor was huge and very comfortable. It was serviced during breakfast every day we were there. Breakfast is buffet style and there is a wide range of cold... More
