This was a first class stay with rooms that are very comfortable and well equipped. Sue and Chris are excellent hosts, very welcoming and accommodating; more like staying with good friends than landlady/landlord. Breakfast was delicious, Sue provided exactly what I wanted to order. There are a lot of great village pubs in the area for food at lunchtimes or... More

Enjoyed a relaxing break at Richmond Hoo over Christmas. Sue and Chris made us feel very welcome and the Christmas extras were lovely (especially Sue's homemade mince pies!). Accommodation was well equipped and cosy and hope to visit again sometime. Well situated for local attractions, including Sutton Hoo, Minsmere RSPB reserve and Southwald. If you are a foodie don't miss... More

Just back from our third stay at this fantastic holiday let, it's the best we stay at and are never disappointed. Fully equipped, immaculately presented and in good location plus dog friendly - what more could we want. Sue and Chris are excellent hosts and we are already planning our next visit. I'm almost loathe to sing its praises too... More

This is a first-rate b and b. The room was spotless and totally comfortable, particularly the huge bed and the walk -in shower! Stayed for two nights, whilst visiting friends in the area. The hosts were very open and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was super both mornings, and the homemade cakes that appeared in the room on... More

I arrived earlier than expected but was warmly welcomed with a cup of tea. Local pub was not providing food so owners invited me to share their evening meal with them in their kitchen. Beautiful warm room, lovely bathing accessories, a lovely home from home.

Attention to detail is the watchword in this lovely property. Along with the wonderful hosts this is a true home from home. Although we only stayed one night we were made to feel truly at home by Chris and Sue.They put us with us taking an hour and half to eat our breakfast and never roubled us once!!!. The house... We stayed here in August for a family wedding and we were made to feel welcome from the very start of our stay to the very end! There is a very homely feel from the minute you walk in! We even had breakfast together on a large table in the dining room with the best full English breakfast I have... More

My sister and I recently walked the Suffolk coast path and took the risk of not prebooking to enable us to have flexibility on daily distances. we were fortunate enough to bump into a very friendly publican who called a local B&B for us and even drove us there. We met the truly welcoming hosts, Sue and Chris, who showed... More

Sue and Chris accommodated our Indego Club camp eventing trip just this week in September. Our horses were comfortably stabled at Poplar Park - just a 10 minute walk down the road, while we (and our dog) had a few more luxuries staying at Richmond Hill and the self catering cottage next door, Richmond Hoo. Even though there were a... More

This is one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed. Sue made us all feel at home. The rooms were superb, large, clean and modern. It was a real home from home. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty, I will definitely go back again.
