Stayed at this amazing B&B on my own for three nights while taking part in a horse riding course at nearby Poplar Park. I found it the most welcoming, most spacious and cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in - my standards are very high when it comes to quality, taste and cleanliness. Here everything has been thought off, down... More

We were attending a wedding nearby and found Richmond Hill B&B on the internet. When we arrived Sue and Chris welcomed us with tea and cake. They are great hosts, friendly and happy to chat. The actual house and amenities were top class. I have only good things to say - lovely couple, lovely house, spotlessly clean, great breakfast. 10... More

Booked my mum in here while we camped down the road. The B&B was just what we needed for an active 70 year old lady. We were greeted on our arrival by both Sue and Chris who made us all feel really welcome. The whole house was clean and very warm, just right for mum! I would not hesitate in... More

I happened upon this B&B after a night spent in a cold, wet tent but it would have been a wonderful place to come under any circumstances. The warm welcome, hot shower, huge bed and satisfying breakfast revived me, and I went on my way restored to humanity. Thank you Sue and Chris

I had to travel and stay overnight in Hollesley to attend a funeral. I was recommended Richmond Hill Bed and Breakfast by a friend. I was greeted by Sue in the evening after the funeral and what a lovely lady she is. I had only just stepped inside the front door when I was offered a cup of tea and,... More

On arrival my family and I were at ease with Sue and Chris who are the hosts of Richmond Hill, it felt as if they were friends and we were there visiting them and not in Hollesley for a 60th Birthday party. The rooms were spotless and roomy, with great facilities. Nothing was too hot or heavy for Sue and... More

We met up with friends for two nights and our stay in Suffolk was enhanced by staying in such a lovely home and the welcome we received .. When I admired Sue's dried hydrangeas she very kindly found me some to take home which was indicative of her efforts to go beyond what one would normally expect.

The location is amazing and is ideal for a break and is close to the sea/walking and cycling trails. Comfy bed and amazing shower, great breakfast with a bit of Ken Bruce on radio 2. what more can you... More

I think Richmond Band B is one of the loveliest homes I have stayed in. I can only agree with all the other positive reviews. Sue and her husband were lovely and very welcoming and friendly offering us tea with them on arrival. It was really perfect and I was just sorry we weren't staying longer. If there was a... More
