This place is a cracker of a B&B, Homely, friendly, relaxing and a rarity as most B&Bs have gone down the horrid route of boutique B&B, white and cream room madness, over the top extras you dont want or need. The Station House B&B at Lingwood is a great place to base yourself for Norwich and the Broads. You can stay at the accommodation and hop on the train for an evening in Norwich or a shopping trip and the last train back is around 11pm!!!!! Perfect short stay with friendly staff who helped book us a table at a nearby pub (which served brilliant food!) The room was nice and the breakfast delicious, looking out on to a bird filled garden. A lovely country break and fantastic value, also booked at the last minute which wasn't a problem. Highly recommended.

I stayed in a single room for two days in June. It turned out to be a perfect base for visiting reserves at Strumpshaw, Buckenham and Ranworth. Everything was bright and clean, breakfasts were good, and trains did not cause any problem with noise.
