Went this year to Summer House Park and was a terrible place to camp. You can't do anything without being told off by park staff. First, we had a radio on quietly inside our trailer and park staff told us to turn it off. I went and asked our neighbour if it was loud and they said they couldn't hear... More

We took our family to the restaurant in Summer House Park. We have a cottage nearby and decided to go out for breakfast. We had been here for breakfast about 10 years ago and we really enjoyed it. We were not disappointed on our visit this time. They still had the vegetable or fruit crepe which we remembered well. I... More

We first camped here a couple of years ago. We thought it was a bit expensive, but turned out to be totally worth it. The place is so clean. Always have friendly service too. We stayed at Summer House Park as our home base for our travels within the Bruce Peninsula. We booked at Camping Cabin #1 which included a few nice perks. It included a full fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, lots of cupboard space, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. There was even instant hot and cold running water. The bedroom had a... More

After some rainy tent camping trips in the past, we decided to go glamours this year and rented 2 bedroom cottage for one week. The cabin was basic in appearance, wood paneling, but loved the little details, such as a propane fireplace that really kept the cabin warm at night, water that you can drink from the tap, new fridge... We stayed on site HB4 from Aug 3rd to 8th - stayed here as we had family staying in one of the camping cabins in that little cul de sac area - was nice to be able to have our trailer near their cabin. The park itself is set up nicely - tons of daily activities, nice tall trees, beach... More

It was fun. We took our own beddings, towels, food stuff, drinks etc. So it was like a reglar camping trip. There was a... More
