This is a place of total tranquility so far off the beaten track that one must have their own transport to get to and fro, and it is not found on GPS systems. Once there you find the rooms are actually boats, extremely well fitted out with comfortable furniture, lots of wardrobe space, tea and coffee facilities and an outside... More

This place is worth staying at for a couple of nights for its charm and the stunning views and the great Thai food!! Really enjoyed it here. Breakfast was very simple but Thai food can be ordered. The rooms were simple and you could just hear everything your neighbours below and next to you would do but I simply loved... More

We spent only a night here. Everything was just fine. The staffs were nice and helpful. The food was average. The place might be hard to find for the foreigners, you might need a local taxi to take you there. Anyway, we greatly enjoyed the view over the lake in the evening. Surely worth it.

The view and location (if you have a own car! For backpacker not recommemded!) of these Hotel is great. But the service and the room we received wasn't very nice... we received the worst villa with the advise, we can upgrate our room for 2600 THB / night. So i think this was a strategy... The food was ok, but... More

This place is remote, peaceful and quiet. The rooms are built on old boats. We had a room with two double beds where the beds were a bit high. The bedspread of mine had stains on it and my fitted sheet was torn at my feet. The room and décor, although unique, was dark and dingy. Our bathroom had a... More

We've stayed at Kaengkrachan Boathouse Paradise Resort last February and really liked it so we decided to return with friends in Oct. This place is usually great for a place to stay while visiting Kaengkrachan National Park which is very close by. It is also located on the shores of the lake in a beautiful quiet setting. This time we... More

Spent a weekend at the Kaengkrachan Boathouse Paradise in August and had a very enjoyable experience. The resort is in a beautiful location on the lakeside, very quiet and immersed in nature. The whole place has a unique architecture which culminates in boatlike rooms that, despite being rather simple and sometimes in need of small renovations, are comfortable and welcoming.... More

Superb scenery from the restaurant and poolside. A bit isolated and without your own transport you'd better be prepared to rely wholly on the resort's own resources. Clean main pool and children/infants pools. Hotel is 2 story and 3 story wooden chalets in the style of traditional oriental boats, rooms are clean and reasonably equiped. The wooden walls are acoustically... More

great location the dam bank Pool and ground look great. Problem is service is terrible Went to restraunt for dinner, ordered drinks and where forgotten. Breakfast was ordinary. Hot servery was cold, tables not cleaned after being used. A very distinct lack of supervision or care in the restraunt area. Rooms are quiet nice, though. An be noisey if downstairs,... More
