Don't be seduced by the photos. The hotel is surrounded by a sort of quarry (river sand dredging ..... dust), the swimming pool is cloudy and greenish, the shower broke at the first touch. If you don't pull your curtain anyone can look into your room - and probably does. I very much the square metrage of the room (at... More

We drove up the highway and turned at a 90 degree angle up a dirt path of a quarry to stop at what looked like a run down motel. This hotel's website has very clever photography, and the only thing that is true, is that it is on the Rive Kwai. But it not 2KM from the bridge as the... More

We live in Bangkok and travel most weekends and always stay in small boutique hotels. This has been the worst experience ever, first time we have left early and gone home half way through the holidays. Room was smelly, full of mozzies and when we asked for extra pillows when we were told we couldnt move rooms, we were told... More

I'm here solo seeking a peaceful place to refresh myself. This place seemed to serve me well in that sense. Staffs don't really care about me even when I try to order some food. They are quite ill-trained in service. Bathroom is smelly so as the water. Bed is a bit damped with some water stains. Shower holder is broken.... More

Quiet, but a 10 minute taxi ride from the bus station. The male receptionist spoke English and was helpful organising tours and transportation. Cora is terrific in the restaurant. Rooms were clean and bathroom not bad. Would stay again.

Our stay at the hotel was horrible. Our room had two single beds despite requesting a double,, mould and hair all over the bathroom and the shower head was broken so that you couldn't raise it above waist height. The hotel pool had a layer of acum on the bottom and was very cloudy. We didnt even think of going... More

my wife and i have visited this hotel 3 times in the past year and would return again. it has its problems, especially its accessibility, but it doesnt deserve the many negative comments it gets. the staff are supportive and helpful. although few speak english, the food in the restaurant is fairly priced, but almost solely thai food, no western... We booked our stay here via Groupon Thailand. The brochure and the owner supplied details and pictures looked amazing. The only amazing thing about it was how far from the truth it really is. You can see looking around that the resort in its hey day would have been a truly wonderful place to stay and could indeed very easily... More

This hotel could be lovely if a little care was taken to clean properly and maintain other parts that are starting to look very shabby! The room was ok, but had lots of ants in the bathroom. There is also a very noisy generator that kicks in around 10pm - we complained and were moved room very quickly, so obviously... More
