fantastic experience, incredible location, good food. However.....everything is very run down and not in a shabby chic way. on arrival, we all ran to the pool and not one wait staff came. We continuously had to run up and down the stairs to get our own drinks, same for the second evening. Not only were our glasses/bottles still around the... More

The level of "luxury" is 3. The level of fun is 9/10. It is quiet, relaxing to be here. The air is pure ... Careful: bugs come out at sunset. The bed are firm, but we managed to sleep OK. Every day, we travelled by long-tail to different sites, and returned for dinner. We enjoyed the omelette bar for breakfast... More

Wow! what an experience! we did the overnight stay with a tour including the Hells fire pass and museum, meals and Mon village tour. We were collected by our tour guide at the pier and took the long tail boat along the river for a very beautiful and scenic ride. Upon arrival we were treated to lunch - some of... More

Back at the Resotel after a year sharp. Wow, these surroundings, the jungle, the Kwai, the long tail boats, the friendly reception at the Resotel. This time we took a superior river view ‘chalet’. It is astonishing: ajungle around but good TV in the room, good wifi in the main building. Again we liked the little tour at the Mon... More

It's an amazing location floating on the Kwai. The rooms are lovely. The restaurant staff are great with my Coeliac Disease now they know what it means. The floating rooms are peaceful except at night. We are in an end one and the jetty keeps knocking against the floats.....all night. The staff don't speak very good English and I don't... More

We stayed here as part of our tour last week. This is a great hotel, best part is arriving by the long tail boat. Rooms here are clean and the A/C worked great we was in cottage # 616 so it was quite from any river noise. Only wished they had Wifi in the rooms it is free at the... More

We landed in Bangkok and were taken straight to the Resotel. It was so amazing to get into the little boat for the 5min ride up the river. Incredible scenery, friendly staff. Tuk-tuk was great with her English and organising our various events & activities. As we say in Australia, do yourself a favour & book at least a 3day... More

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. It was so peaceful. We arrived at the Resotel pier which is clearly signposted and close to the main road out of Kanchanaburi. The boat trip was one of the highlights of the stay. It was a short ten minute ride up river, but it was so quiet, and we had the boat to... More

This visit was organised by our old English friends living in Bangkok, working in the travel industry, so we did what they recommended! And it was very worthwhile. We'd already been up to Chiangmai Mai and down to the seaside resort on Phi Phi years ago, so this 3 night trip fitted into our current plans (short stop over on... More

Had a great time, the food wasn't as fresh as I thought it could be Excellent facilities and service. The boat trip to the resort was amazing, as is the resort. The design of the rooms and resort is excellent. I woulddefiniteely stay again
