Very beautiful resort, clean, nice staff, amazingly beautiful surroundings! Delicious food! (steamed whole fresh water fish is a must try!) Very good massages! Quite an adventure to get there :) We decided to get there without the transfer offered by the resort. had to take bus from Bangkok to Kanchanburi and another van to the drop-off spot at the resort's... Resortel is in a remote green location with the river in the background. It's in the juggle setting, so the grounds are pleasantly green and the river views are beautiful. Most guests arrive by the long boat, but we drove and it was an easy drive on a good, if curvy, country road. The room was spacious with a private... More

Greetings, I stumbled on this hotel by accident while i was looking for a place to spend the night around kanchanaburi, i ended up spending three wonderful nights, great views, beautiful scenery, the location is perfect, far away from city, breathtaking views, the hotel offers a ride on a longtail boat because it is on the other side of the... Resotel is an older rustic style hotel, nicely located on a river bank in a jungle gorge. The only way to reach it is via a small boat, which was an adventure in itself. If you stay anywhere in this region bear in mind you will be isolated from civilisation -but this is also its appeal. Nearby raft hotels look... More

For a jungle hotel it is rather good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the only down side are the bathrooms, water does not go down and in the shower the water never really gets hot, but that is not too big a problem as the weather outside is so warm you do not really mind a luke warm shower.

this is a typical lodge type hotel in the middle of nowhere but with all the amenities you can think of. while the food was not great, it was good enough and, while the rooms were not great, they were very typical and confortable enough. The spa also provided some excellent thaï massages.

You arrive with a boat, good start :) Love the area, the rockformations are fantasic and there are many tropical trees at the resort. The clubhouse is serving great food (tip: try the thai dessert) and has chilling life music. I made a very nice trip on foot and by boat both very nice to do.

Perfect. Food very good and not expensive. Hôtel staff Nice. Breakfast with lots of choice. The only thing, is the few long tail boat to leave the hotel, We would like free boat on the afternoon to stay a little more around the swimming pool !

This hotel is great if you are looking for a relaxing break. From the moment we arrived on the long boat we were greeted by excellent hospitality. We had a lunch arranged for us and enjoyed a drink on the balcony overlooking the swimming pool with the River Kwai in the background. The rooms are very clean and very traditional... More

Stayed November 2014. Travelled with female friend. We stayed at this hotel for one night only on the recommendation of our holiday advisor as we wanted to stay near to the Ewran National Park. He stated 'it's just across the river' which in theory it is, however there is a huge mountain you'd have to climb and jungle to trek... More
