We only spent one night here in transit between Surat Thani and Koh Samui. It’s a good 1-1/2 hrs drive (on empty roads late at night) from the airport so is not really a convenient place to stay. This hotel offers basic kampong style living and offers nothing more than merely serve as a stop over to Koh Samui. Having said this, you need a car to drive from this hotel to Raja ferry. I could complain about the rat droppings in the bathroom, the lack of any sheets on the bed and the obvious fact that the room had not been cleaned in a while BUT when you book a hotel in the sticks and predominantly used by those seeking the ferry in the morning to Koh Samui or Koh Phangan...what do you...
