Booked this place based on very good reviews. We arrived at clean wave resort at approximately 9pm. The place was deserted. The taxi driver then spent around 15 minutes looking around the pitch black complex for signs of life to let us in. He then attempted to contact the resort through a telephone number we had been provided with --... More

We stayed overnight at this resort on our way down from Bangkok to Phuket. The location is wonderful (right on the beach) with the main part of the hotel and restaurant right on the beach and the accommodation in separate bungalows just across the road. The bungalows are fairly basic and a little tired (as other reviewers have pointed out... More

If returning to this area, I would be happy to stay at this place again. Staff were very helpful and allowed me to check in early (I arrived at about 6am after taking the overnight train from Bangkok). It's nice and quiet and the hotel restaurant is right on the beach. The restaurant has good food and the Bungalow I... More

I had needed somewhere to stay in the Chumphon area as I drove south from Petchaburi and found the Clean Wave Resort at the last minute. It turned out to be a good choice. On Saphli Beach the resort consists of separate bungalows with a large bedroom and bath with a shower. I actually stayed twice. Once on the way... More

This is a great budget option by the beach. Bungalows are big and well appointed, although there was only one power outlet in our room. Wifi worked in the bungalow. Bathroom had a tub, although no shower curtain. The bungalows are not located directly on the beach, they are across the street. The hotel's main lobby and restaurants are on... More

I liked this hotel very much. Big, clean, bright bungalow with mosquito nets on the windows, a/c, fridge, 2 bottles of water are free every day, hot water, the bathroom amenities ( shower gel, shampoo, cotton buds, shower cap etc.) Comfortable bed and pillows. Free Wi-Fi. Quite big terrace with comfortable bench where nicely to sit and enjoy the sea... More

We stayed in this hotel together with friends. The accommodation was nice, clean and easy. We actually booked a bungalow with two floors but later downgraded as it was too big for us. The resort is right at the beach. Not many tourists here and the beach is wide and empty. This is a place for kite surfing. The winds... More

We only stayed one night as a stopover between Bangkok and Phuket but this place is worthy of a longer stay if you want a quiet relaxing beach holiday away from all the crowds. It is very much a Thai style resort and therefore not fancy but it is very clean, serves good food and they are very welcoming.
