Stayed here one night, and it was excellent. Very friendly host, and a lovely old building. Room - a nice large family room, with little "extras". There were toiletries, a hairdryer, a fridge, WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities. Nice and clean. Comfy beds too. Location - excellent location next to the canal. 3 pubs and a village shop within... More

Spacious family bedroom with plenty of little extras including good quality toiletries which is nice to see. As previous reviews had said that breakfasts were plentiful, they were indeed. It was truly home from... More

We were recommended this B & B by the Roe buck over the road. So we booked here for two nights for new years eve and day. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room, she was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was a good size with a large bed and very big... More

We stayed in late July for a nearby wedding and were treated to a lovely room, lovely host and an excellent cooked breakfast. Some fittings are a bit retro but that adds to the charm and everything was extremely clean and in good working order. Thoroughly recommended!

We stayed for 4 nights recently and had 3 rooms. We all loved the character of each of the rooms, two overlooked the canal and we were more than delighted with all of the rooms. There are many great little touches such as the paper in the reception area, biscuits in the room, mini fridge in most rooms, excellent towels... More
