Having read a few negative reviews we had booked a Friday night and the day could not be faulted. Check in was smooth and the large car parks ensured no looking for a space. The room was fine and clean and even though near the bar area there was no noise in the room. The place has a bar food... More

Stayed for 2 nights in June on business. Room in the courtyard was basic, but perfectly functional if a little dark due to it's location. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent, even though the restaurant and bar got very busy both a lunch and in the evening. Staff very efficient and friendly.

Recently stayed here during recent warm spell. Upon arrival the place was buzzing and there was a great atmosphere. The bar was busy as was the out door terraces. We dined there with some clients. The food was excellent and service was good. The only downside would be the bedrooms are getting tired and in need of a revamp.

Large group of us stayed for the weekend. Our room was lovely, clean massive comfy bed and good shower. The staff are lovely and very helpfull and its great to sit out by the canal in the sunshine with a beer. Ive read other varying reviews on here but our experience was great value for money and i thought it... More

Stayed over for the wild west week end. All I can say is thank you. Staff were very helpful, room was really nice, needs a bit of tidying up but clean and spacious. Booked to return with the children to meet Santa, although planning an earlier return also. Breakfast was lovely. Once again thank you.

Sorry folks but this is one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. I am a non smoker and was allocated a smoking room. I did ask to be moved but was told they were nearly full, Say no more! The newer rooms appear to be good. Breakfast was good and credit to the waitress. Would I go... More

Friends and family meeting for a birthday treat. We were made very welcome by a number of staff, the service throughout was brilliant. We enjoyed the ITALIAN ATMOSPHERE, we were totally distracted by the continuity of the pizzas being sent out ,they looked and smelt delicious. Our orders;fish gammon and pizza were presented well and enjoyed by all.Our eating experience at... Stayed in the Jacuzzi room for 3 nights of sweet music and romance... we popped out to the pub the odd time and grabbed some food, but other than that we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the quiet. Well advised for a romantic hideaway!

Called in with grandchildren for a pizza, our pizzas undercooked on the next table they looked burnt. The childs meal portion was very small. However on another table a man had just proposed to his lady with a ring in a dish of chocolates, so sweet! Hope they have a happy life together I wish them all the best for... More

The rooms are ridiculously overpriced. As soon as we got in the room we were met with a sewage smell which lasted until we left. The water in the room smelt also. The mattress didn't fit the bed properly and about four inches were bare wooden frame. The food in the Italian place is really nice, however in the owd... More
