We returned (my partner, I & our 7 yr old daughter) after first visiting Guys Thatched Hamlet. We had a nice large room which had clearly been redecorated. In fact the exterior decorators were there while we were there. This was a welcome surprise as the place definitely needs redecoration. The room had a modern corner bath with jacuzzi &... More

I have visited this restaurant on and off for over 20 years, ever since Carriages in Blackpool closed. I went with my girlfriend and we were told that there would be a 20-30 minute wait. That was only to be expected and we were quite happy to have a drink at the bar. As we were called and stood waiting... More

Stopped here for dinner with some work colleagues. On arrival the place looks fantastic and when you go it in doesn't disappoint. The Olde feel of the place is fantastic. There was a good selection of beers and food. The quality of the food was very good with good portions served. Would definitely recommend this place for something to eat.

We stayed for two nights, Friday was "Friday feeling" deal. Can't recommend highly enough, we had the basic room and it was clean and comfortable, biggest bed I've ever seen, it's the best... More

I have stayed here a few times, my favourite room here is the Deluxe Executive rooms with the spa bath! Really good quality and really spacious rooms! I have eaten in the restaurant a few times also where the menu I'd say is a bit pricey but you certainly get what you pay for! I recommend the Seafood spaghetti!! I... More

Guy's is a beautiful setting with a canal running right by the 'hamlet' and a lovely garden centre about 30 minutes walk along the canal from the hamlet.
