Was a little skeptical about what to experience at the B & B. Clean and well laid out environment. Friendly and helpful hosts. Brilliant environment and clean and scarcely populated beach within 5 minutes walk. Will definitely stay there again. Summary: Not a 5 star hotel, but a friendly "home" for a time out at the beach, away from the... More

We have been visiting St Cyrus for many years as our son and family live close by. The area is a stunning nature reserve with a huge beach and dunes, the river Esk and big skies. The bed and breakfast overlooks all this, a few minutes along the board walk and you are on the beach . The Fishing Station... More

Had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 night stay at the end of August with our young baby. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed with a selection of refreshments, hairdryer and information about the local area. Very tasty breakfast in lovely breakfast room - made even better when Alison offered to look after our little one to let us... More

Location, hospitality, food and facilities great. Beautiful beach walks. Great for relaxation and getting away from the stresses of life. Felt like a million miles away from home.

Stayed for two nights, wished it had been longer. Definitely a get away from it all place. Quiet, relaxing and right on the sand dunes, and one minute to beach front. Rooms were modern, well equipped with en suite and own front door. Have to come outside to go into kitchen for breakfast. Food best quality and cooked to perfection... More

Excellent bed & breakfast situated in a lovely spot close to St Cyrus beach. Spotlessly clean. Nice room. Great breakfast. Friendly and welcoming owner. Ticks all the boxes really. Only downside - jellyfish on the beach, so barefoot paddling or swimming not really an option. Not much the owners can do about that though. We were fishing on the North... More

Warm welcome; beautiful room; immaculately clean; comfortable bed;and superb breakfast with plenty of choice(much of it fresh and local). Then over the sand dunes to a gorgeous beach. Paradise! Highly recommended.

Not the cheapest bed and breakfast in the area but surely the best. The room was light and airy and had clearly been recently refurbished. Their were lovely touches like books relating to the Bell Rock lighthouse (pictured on the wall of the room) and for those too tired to flick through this information, there is the usual obligatory digital... Stunning location, nicely decorated/furnished etc rooms, tasty breakfast and kind hosts. My Dad and I stayed here one night on a cycle trip from Edinburgh to Aberdeen. A secure shed was provided for our bikes and there was an offer of a lift up the hill to the pub where we could get dinner (which was very tasty, also recommended),... More
