Old hotel with modern renovations. Has wifi and is located near good food both local and international. Although the facilities are sub-standard, it is suitable for any wary traveller that just needs a place to stay for the night. Also for the railway fans, you can watch a train pass every 30 mins. Previous mineral water bottle, now in a small jug. Torn sheets and a bit smelly in the room, internet difficult to connect. Frustrated choose this hotel as a leisure option, may no longer intended to return

As with all small town hotels, Mandarin Hotel (not Inn as listed) has its ups and downs. Located in the building that houses the blue Courts Superstore, the hotel has been left to deteriorate over the years. Many of the fittings do not work.
