We stayed at Las Palmas for 4 days in a Casita with two bedrooms. Very nice and clean condoes with everything you need. The interior and design was with wonderfull details. We enjoyed the private pool in ou terrasse with our two kids (0 and 4 years old). We loved the simple menu in the Beach Bar and Restaurant. So... More

There is no better place in the Ixtapa/ Zihuatanejo area to lounge on the beach, and treat yourself like royalty. The hammocks and cabañas on the beach and incredible for laying in the shade reading a book, and sipping on a piña colada. The food and staff are always on point, and the location and architecture situated on Playa Larga... More

My wife and I stayed here in February for 4 nights, followed by 4 nights at another hotel in Ixtapa. Firstly, prior to booking, we really did um and ah about staying at Las Palmas - we were concerned that the hotel was maybe too small and perhaps too isolated, yes it is small and it is off the beaten... We returned again this year to HLP. There certainly is something magical about this place, the solitude of Playa Blanca, the detail of each amenity, the sounds of ocean waves, but most probably is the fact that you are treated like family. The food again this year was spectacular...especially lunches at the beach. Each room has views to die for,... More

Our stay at Las Palmas was about as nice as one could expect for luxury accommodations if you want to get away from it all. Everything was really top notch. The rooms, the restaurant, the grounds, the beach, and especially the staff were all excellent. Our week long stay was a pleasure and we couldn't have been happier with the... More

My fiance and I just got back from a wonderful 5 night stay at Las Palmas. We cannot thank Jason and the staff enough for making our stay so enjoyable - the people working at Las Palmas went above and beyond to make it feel like home for us. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and we were upgraded to an... More

This was our first time to Ixtapa after we have been to the Riviera Maya, Punta Mita, Cabo, etc. We were going to stay at the Viceroy but it was booked for a private event for the weekend and I saw this hotel featured on Jetsetter. I did some research and found that this hotel, although different from what we... More

Our family stayed at the Hotel Las Palmas in late December 2014. The property is beautiful. The units are large and well equipped for preparing your own meals. All of the units appeared to have spectacular views and private hot tubs. Hotel Las Palmas is located on a long, quiet stretch of beach that provides opportunities for long and secluded... More

Ann, Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad to hear that you loved our beautiful beach and our great rooms. I'm sorry to hear that you had some trouble with reserving beach chairs. Typically there is no need to reserve chairs but New Years is the busiest time of year. I'll make sure we improve our process so we... More

5 stars. Food and service superb. Small quaint property away from everything. Resort with only 30 rooms on a private beach. No locals on the beach harassing you every 2 minutes to buy something. 20 min to town but perfect for a quiet vacation. Be prepared for no TV's, phones, clocks or night life. Wifi only in the lobby and... More
