Just to start, I don't think I have ever had a bargain in Perth.I'm annoyed every time I have to stay there. In this scenario I wanted a budget bed, conveniently located for the airport. Me and my girlfriend had an early flight out of PERTH international so decided to go with this place as its one of the closest.... More

The staff who attended to me and my husband were friendly as we arrived earlier than checked-in time. They not only pointed to us where could we find food, but also volunteered to take us there during our trip.Peaceful and serene environment.Room looked old but decently clean, including the kitchen which was tidy too.Pleasant stay with reasonable and affordable price.

We needed a place within walking distance to East Guildford station and booked the double room with en suite. The building is old and tired and so are the amenities .... but we didn't mind as we were out most days and evenings. Only needed a bed and our own shower. Pricilla (live in manager) was cheerful and very obliging.... More

I was worrried after reading some of the negative comments and was pleasantly surprised - a very relaxing and pleasant stay after arriving in the middle of the night from Europe. To all the critics - if you want 4-star accomodation, then pay 4-star prices! Thanks to Teresa and staff for a very nice stay! A warning tho, this is... More

This is basic hostel-type accommodation at a budget (for Perth) price. We paid $99 for a twin room. Shared ablution facilities, and the ratio of showers/toilets to rooms is not great, so be prepared to get up early or wait. Very friendly manager; use of the kitchen and facilities; generally relaxed. No meals on site, but there's a pub just... More

First of all: It's a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL! Don't get a false impression when booking online. Don't expect a restaurant, room service or anything like that. If you are looking for a great hostel respectively budget accommodation: This is the place to stay. My boyfriend and me stayed for 2 nights. The place is run by a lovely elderly... More

Would definately stay again.. It is budget but the friendliness made it worth our stay. It has been taken over by a lovely lady who is doing her best to restore the place. Full of old world charm. Her friendliness made our stay that much more pleasurable .

I will stay again, at least one more chance. Just to be sure. Cons: - on street parking. Looks like a quiet area, but don't leave stuff in your car just to be sure - it is under a flight path... So be aware. I live under one at home so the sound of the planes was actually a nice... More

Wow I have not been around prior to experience any of the other people's dissatisfied experiences. I can say that I have always had an enjoyable experience here. The taxi fare from the airport is $15, not the price previously stated by someone else. I have also returned to this "lodge" as i have found the price, cleanliness and friendliness... More

I think you get what you pay for and you have to consider what you've paid, how long you're staying for and what expectations were when you booked. * The room was clean & tidy *Clean towels provided *Pay & Go Internet provided *Room size booked was more than adequate *10 min walk to train station to Perth (please note,...
