This hotel is very old but really well preserved in beautiful wooden style with outside sauna and hot bath and own bakery. The food is excellent, and the service from this familyrun hotel is magnificent. Rooms is decorated indiviually with each room one theme. Really nice dinner at this hotel. 4 courses of regional, local food made in the traditional way. Including local trout both raw with a cold tarragon sauce and smoked in a potato soup. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in, there was electricity and water and there it stopped, it was like being in a Victorian home on steroids. The food was delicious and the wine package that accompanied it well chosen. One guest played the Moonlight Sonata while we sipped out coffee in sitting room which had stunning views... More
