We intentionally stayed in Fiume Veneto on our visit to northern Italy because my husband's father had been born and raised there. Our stay at Fossa Mala made the visit there even better. It is a lovely property that is thoroughly modern, but that keeps traditions alive. The vineyards are lovely as are the gardens with their artesian well and... More

The hotel is a piece of paradise. Property is better suited to those who have private transportation and know their way around the area. Venice is approximately one hour away by car. Stayed for just one night during my official visit to Cordenons mill. Cool atmosphere, nice food, huge lawn, small but cozy rooms !! Breakfast is with limited options. Sufficient parking lot & away from city makes it more perfect. Also good for tourist who don't want/ cannot afford to stay in Venice.
