We were married in Lympne Castle 15 years ago and this weekend my wonderful hubby had arranged a return trip to stay in the cottages (not available when we were married). I was so impressed! We stayed in Pineapple Cottage. Another poster mentioned the Dovecote above the master bedroom. We have a 3.5 year old so the doves were up... More

Stayed in the pineapple cottage for one one night whilst attending a wedding reception at the castle. Cottage was clean and had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. Complimentary toiletries abundant. Single beds comfy, double bed not quite so, also no mention of the dovecot above the window in the master bedroom which was not welcome at 5am !!... More

We stayed at Gatehouse cottage, myself, wife, daughter and grandson. When we got there it was spotless and very welcoming with the basic provisions of tea, milk etc waiting for us. It is a lovely location with views across the coast and the castle itself is terrific. It is privately owned and used for weddings but cottage renters can go... More

My wedding reception took place at the Lympne Castle. It is a stunning venue and the pictures are amazing. The wedding coordinator and the staff were friendly, welcoming and very flexible. The quality of the meal was ok, but all the rest was just incredible. Our guests were stunned with the place and the views. I really liked the fact... More

stayed here with 3 teenagers on a three night break, Stayed in Pineapple cottage. The only downside was that it was a little dingy and dark in the living room which also made it quite cold (it was part of a castle though) We did not have an outside area to sit and eat and areas were roped off. We... More

A gorgeous group of cottages with fantastic views right down to the coast. Stayed here for a friends wedding and it was fantastic. The double beds are a bit small in some of the rooms, but bathrooms and kitchens functional, clean and finished to a high standard. Dishwasher in some cottages, and outside areas and plenty of parking directly outside... More

We ended up using two of the cottages,Lambourne and Pinkie Hill which was very convenient as we split our time between exploring the Kent coast, hopped over to France and then returned. Both cottages are very clean, spacious and well equipped. There is a stunning view from Lambourne and Pinkiehill has french windows opening on to a small small quaint... More

Really enjoyed our mid week stay in late June as a family with a 2 year old boy staying in The Gatehouse cottage. Well equipped kitchen, nice clean facilities. Comfortable lounge with tv & DVD player. Thoughtful touches of fresh cleaning equipment & linen for use. Good spacious accommodation. A couple of suggestions that we did not pass on at... More

Stayed at pinky hills cottage last weekend and it was amazing. The cottage was surprisingly spacious and was great that it was fully equipped. Lovely cottage with garden, very quiet at night with no lighting out front. Being from London us 5 girls aren't used to such darkness. However only down side was there wasn't enough loo role for 5... Good location, near to the channel tunnel made this our first stop back in British soil. Beautiful buildings, large appartment, well equipped. Great breakfast on our own in... well, a castle! Kids just loved that. We were treated like the owners. Made a perfect start to our visit to England. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the... More
