We just stayed a night while spending the weekend in Shrewsbury, 5 or 6 miles away. The hosts were really friendly, and we were given a whole wing, with a bathroom as big as our bedroom at home, a comfy bed, free wifi, and a great breakfast. We enjoyed sharing one large table with the other four guests, chatting about... More

Stayed here last week whilst on a training course in the area, so many good points to mention and with no bad points I can sum it up with........ Great welcome, great hosts, great breakfast, great wood burning stove and a great bed. All in all, a proper B&B

This is the second year I have stayed at this B&B and it's simply delightful. Vanessa is lovely and clearly takes great pride in providing customers with a lovely stay. Lovely building, lovely garden, lovely room, peaceful, great breakfast, all brilliant.

North Farm is set in a tranquil rural setting in a quiet country lane. Vanessa, our hostess, was warm and welcoming and very accommodating of our needs for an earlier breakfast, outside of usual serving times. The rooms were bright, clean and homely with everything one could need, including toffee wafers and bottled spring water, a selection of herbal teas... More

A family funeral brought us back to the area and the simple, friendly and unobtrusive hospitality at North Farm was very welcome. A very comfortable bed in a lovely room with a decent size ensuite and room to relax was a treat at the end of each day. The traditional breakfast choices including North Farm's own eggs and bacon were... More

Stayed at North Farm for 5 nights whilst visiting an ill relative nearby. I could not be more satisfied, with the warmth of greeting, the quality of the Classic British farmhouse care, and sumptuous breakfast full of local produce, including eggs from the farm chucks. Genuine free range and you can tell! Such a change from the magnolia buffet breakfast... More

Lovely house with a real home feel. Pretty bedroom, very comfortable bed & nice linens, with magazines & books available. Although the Garden Room (double) is not particularly large, it has it's own additional landing / reading area with a sofa, leading to a huge bathroom which is fabulous for a relaxing soak. Breakfast is fabulous, good quality everything, anything... More

The two of us stayed only one night, having booked a weekend, because one of us was feeling unwell and needed to get home. The hostess could not have been more sympathetic and helpful - even carrying our suitcase to the car! From our short time at North Farm, we would wholeheartedly recommend it as a great location for visiting... More

A quiet B&B situated down a narrow country lane about 15 minutes drive from Shrewsbury. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a spacious twin room with a good sized en-suite bathroom. There was a generous spread for breakfast, a choice of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, a full English breakfast with tomatoes, bacon, mushrooms, egg, and sausage,... More

Was presented at time of departure with an extra charge for young child, despite bringing our own cot, linen and food. Left a bitter taste after such a pleasant holiday. Perhaps not suitable for young children or surcharge should be mentioned at time of booking.
