My university does a field camp course and we stayed here. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The setting was perfect for our class which had 16 of us total. They understood we were a bunch of students and even came to the campfire the one night! The lodges and outdoors were clean. We even got to go canoeing... More

This camp is a great choice if you are looking for this type of experience. We had family from Europe come over and wanted to take them somewhere they could experience the outdoors and Charlton Lake Camp did not disappoint us. The owners are extremely kind and helpful and are doing their best to bring the camp up to a... More

Thoroughly enjoyed it. I am not much of an outdoors person, was a bit worried going to the cottage. The cottage exceeded my expectations, clean, heated house, hot shower, fully equipped and operational kitchen, great location, peaceful, quiet. The whole family had lots of fun: my husband loved fishing, kids loved the camp fire and boat rides, I loved the... More

We came across this gem by accident making a wrong turn. We have stayed twice and will be back whenever we get the chance. The cabins are spacious, well equipped, very clean, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Mark and Lori (the owners) are great hosts and are very friendly and laid back. There are great trails for hiking, awesome... More

We stayed at CLC for a week in July, and it's a fantastc place to relax among the tranquil surroundings. Lots of good fishing, hiking and fresh air. The cabins are spacious, clean and the camp area is well maintained. The hosts are wonderful and friendly. The kids had enough things to do like play on the swings, beach area,... More

Forget the overcrowded, over priced Muskoka cottages. Drive a bit further north and stay at Charlton Lake Camp. This place is a pristine gem! I'm actually reluctant to write this review because I don't want to see hordes of people there next time, haha. This was the 3rd time we've been here. First time 17 years ago under different ownership.... More

Charlton Lake Camp is the perfect kayak spot. My girlfriends and I stayed in Cabin #2, a clean, airy, comfortable place with all amenities. Beautiful screened porch with table and chairs for open air meals. Comfortable, clean beds and the fresh baked cookies were wonderful to come back to after a day of paddling. A huge bonus was being able... More

Cabin was comfortable, clean and homey. Area relaxing, clean, well kept. Mark and Lori are helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and welcoming. Wonderful camp / cabin experience for our nieces and for us. Plan on returning as soon as we can and have recommended it to other family and friends.
