Beautiful old house in a lovely setting. Rooms are spacious, well decorated and with lovely bathrooms. Lounge and dining room were both good. Good breakfast menu with plenty of choice. Service was brilliant. Food was excellent. We visited with young children and great grandma. All were catered for but no downstairs bedrooms in the main house.

Stayed in one of the self catering suites. Everything there that was needed, spacious, good quality equipment and fittings, comfortable furnishings, outdoor seating (west facing for sunny evenings). Quiet and restful environment with nothing lacking.

Found this wonderful B & B via TripAdvisor after searching for something a bit special in the Shrewsbury area. After our two night stay last weekend we can definitely vouch for the fact that the positive comments are spot on. For the four of us we booked Chestnut apartment (sleeps 2) & a double room in the main house so... More

Just spent a lovely couple of days at Grove Farmhouse. The owner Liz is very welcoming and helpful. On arrival we were offered a cup of tea and a slice of home made lemon drizzle cake, which was excellent. The breakfast was very good with several choices, with homemade cakes and jams and eggs from their hens. The rooms were... More

After a pretty grim past three months my husband and I needed some peace and time to ourselves to recharge. We could not have found anywhere better than here to do just that. Upon our arrival Liz met us with a very warm welcome and after showing us around, directed us to the lovey lounge where we were served tea... More

Me and my sisters stayed at Grove Farm Cottage for 3 nights over the may bank holiday. The cottage is lovely and is very well equipped. The living room is very spacious - lots of room for the 3 of us to spread out. But the best thing was the bed. It was sooooo comfortable. A peaceful nights sleep for... More

For my 30th birthday my fiance took me to Shrewsbury as it was somewhere neither of us have been. It was simply the nicest place i have ever stopped in my life. We stayed here for one night. Liz was really flexible when we got stuck in traffic and arrived very late. The room was comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished with a very nice bathroom. The house itself is lovely and decorated really nicely, especially the breakfast room. There were loads of options for breakfast, all home-made with locally sourced ingredients (the... More
