Thank you Cecile, for making our short stay so memorable.. Your enthusiasm, shone through. Our room was bright, well furnished and overlooked the garden and vineyards. You make us feel welcome and were always on call.. (Especially when I left the key in the car in the courtyard while we went to dinner and couldn't get back in the main... More

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The hospitality was excellent. Cecille was available and friendly. The breakfast was overwhelming with meats, breads, juices, jams, etc. The bakery across the street had the best croissants anywhere. English no problem. The room was big enough. The bathroom had a small Jacuzzi and a shower. More than enough room. The view... More

What an amazing find and very traditional for French style, reminded me of Hotel du Vin in England. The rooms was spacious, bed very comfortable and bathroom with roll top bath amazing. Cecile was excellent in hosting and providing a fantastic breakfast in the morning. An amazing location overlooking Epernay and within beautiful surroundings. Well done to Cecile and hope... More

Staying in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast is better than many a 4 star hotel. Cecile is a charming, smiling hostess who speaks good English and is endlessly kind and helpful. After showing her guests to their room she invites them to have a glass of their own produced Champagne. An "honesty bar" means you can have another glass later... More

La Chevalee is a lovely rustic B&B which has been converted from an old farmhouse and overlooks the vineyards providing a wonderful rural ambience. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the vibrant owner, Cecile, (who speaks good English) and were immediately made to feel totally at home. Upon being shown to our room, we were greeted by an... More

From the moment we set foot on the grounds a La Chevalee, we knew we were in good hands. Cécile immediately came out to greet us and assist us with our packages we had purchased that day. She promptly showed us to our lovely accommodations, and told us to come down for a glass of Champagne once we were settled.... More

Everything about this beautiful B&B was just perfect. Secure off road parking, easy to find in the heart of Hautvillers. Just a short walk to bars and restaurants. The room allocated to us was not the one we had requested (and had confirmed) when we made the booking which meant climbing five flights of stairs.

We stopped over here one night - greeted as we arrived by Cecile and a glass of the house champagne. The rooms we had are large, beautifully furnished and comfortable with lovely bathrooms, and overlook the local vineyards. Hautvillers is where Dom Perignon was a monk and is a well kept village in lovely surroundings, and with a number of... More

Clean, comfortable, sophisticated host and the stables have a wonderful character. The breakfast here defines luxury for me - fresh / home made (even with the French Coffee;-)) The owners have it sorted here. Congrats.

This place is, in a word, sublime. Located along a cobblestone street in the enchanting village of Hautvilliers (known as the birthplace of Champagne) behind a large gate that ensures complete privacy, this renovated historical farmhouse and converted barn offer unexpected luxury. Proprietress Cecile is charming. Gregarious but never intrusive, she speaks excellent English and greets us with glasses of... More
