We had a couple of nights here in January. It's a little off the beaten track and that's part of the charm. It is incredibly peaceful, quiet and relaxing. It's almost eerily quiet at times, but you soon get used to it. The apartment was beautiful. Incredibly well styled and everything that you need - especially the complimentary carafe of... More

Although we stayed at Pianaura Suites for only one day, it was one of the most memorable days in our trip to Italy! The house was situated amongst the rolling hills of vineyards and tiny towns with the horizon disappeared somewhere behind them--so picturesque and peaceful. As we are architects and designers, we must admit that this was a surprisingly... More

Our stay with Mara and her husband in their beautiful home was wonderful from start to finish. The house is charmingly decorated, the gardens are beautifully landscaped and the pool is great to cool off in with fantastic views all around. Breakfast each day was delicious and Mara was happy to help with recommendations of places to visit and restaurants... More

Pianaura is the type of b&b that you instantly feel at home in from the minute you arrive. Mara the owner has a genuine warmth about her and knows the area like the back of her hand & wants to share her passion & knowledge with you. I originally wanted to book a hotel in central verona as we were... More

Mara and Filippo are the most wonderful hosts you can imagine and their attention to detail throughout our visit was second to none. The room used by us and our son of 16 was stylish, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything provided is of a very good quality and there are some lovely surprises in the room such as cookies... More

The suites are marvelous and surrounded by vinyards. Everything in- and outside has been done up to the nines. All things are matching together, from the brocante furniture to the bathroom's rainshower. And always a carafe of Valpolicella wine on the table, how's that! And last but not least the 'landlady' Mara. She's top of the bill Go there!

What do you need from a good B&B? Clean room - check; good shower - check; comfortable bed - check; decent breakfast - check (but remember this is Italy, so it's not a full English or American!); fast wifi - check. What turns a good B&B into an exceptional one? Marvellous location, fantastic views, wonderful quiet, exquisite interior design, spacious... More

We probably would agree with most of the complimentary things which have already been said about Pianaura but you have to put things into the context of your own visit and in reality it was not good. It is expensive to stay there and you do expect a certain standard for the price, and really it is not acceptable that... More

Fantastic location among the hills of Valpolicella and amazing views from the suites and gardens. We were very impressed by the design and high standards of Pianaura Suites. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very well designed with attention to every detail. The stonehouse itself is magnificant. The breakfast as well as the breakfast salon are great. There is... You can't imagine how beautiful is before you had been there! A gorgeous bed and breakfast in the Valpolicella wineyards, totally in a silent and fantastic nature! The garden, the suites, the care in the details, the architecture and the fantastic breakfast are just some of the surprises Mara the owner will reserve for you! You feel more than comfortable, you feel like... More
