Lived two blocks from Fuchs for years and while I haven't slept there I can recommend the kitchen and the beer garden on a summer evening.....or a seat with your back to the big tile oven in the winter...and beer since 1431, they must be doing something right...right ?

We spend there 2 nights on our road between Legoland and Munich. Can's say, that I enjoyed. Everything is wooden, and it "breath out" the oxygen. No elevator. The noise from the beergarten is till a little hours. Breakfast in OK. Baby cot is very big, not like in other hotels. The service is... well no real service. The front... More

Staid there during Oktoberfest. Munich and surroundings had nothing available. It was 15 minutes by taxi to the Augsburg train station and then we took the ICE train to Munich (took 30 minutes and cost 25 euros for 1st class). The hotel has a great Bavarian atmosphere and the food is excellent very typical for the area with great tasting... More
