I booked a room as I needed to get to Bedford as my brother was on life support and the hospital needed me there as there wasn't any more they could do.I travelled for 4 hours to reach Bedford and was at the hospital for under an hour before they switched off his life support. The hospital arranged a appointment... More

I paid £94 for a double room with no breakfast. I found: It's located in a housing estate! The room had an unpleasant smell! The bed and pillows were very hard! The carpets were worn! The light switch was behind the wardrobe! If sleeping in a murder mystery like hotel is your thing you might like it. I didn't.

My husband is from Bedford, he and his parents have all played at Bedford County Golf Club for many years which mean they have passed Woodland Manor Hotel many many times. All were surprised by the pleasant grounds and interior. We had afternoon tea during our stay and such was the quality of the experience we are staying again in... More

We attended my mum's surprise 90th birthday party here yesterday (10th January 2016) we all had a great time. Good food, excellent service. All the staff were very friendly and the room was decorated beautifully. I would definitely go there again. Thank the Manor Hotel for making my mum's surprise birthday party even better.

This hotel is set in a lovely location and can feel it oozing out English country character entirely. The rooms were very small , but well kept with a lot of lovely well maintained antique furniture. It really felt very cozy and warm for the December winter I was there for business, close to Bedford. The Restuarant had a decent... More

I booked this room on booking.com for £86 including breakfast. When I arrived, the entrance hall/ reception area was decorated with fairy lights and the whole place had a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. I checked in and climbed the wonderful wooden creaking staircase, which really was the focal point on the entrance hall. Although I had a standard room,... More
