The change of ownership has now settled in. This is an excellent place to stay among the Rasteau vineyards. The restaurant, now open again during the summer, offers some really good food and excellent local wine. Friendly reception and service, though a little French helps. The garden is well-kept and offers a tranquil place to sunbathe amongst sunny or shaded... More

We visit this pretty Hotel each time we come wine buying but sadly it has been taken over and the chef has left I am told due to ill health. So no lunch and a very scrappy supper .They hadn't even bothered to put a flower or a candle on the table to try and give some atmosphere There was... More

Like previous contributors we were disappointed to learn that an evening meal was no longer available in the restaurant. However, we returned for a brief stay this September and we believe that the new owners have improved the grounds immeasurably and generally we had the feeling that much had been done to address the need to update the tired feel... The hotel itself is attractive and in a good, though relatively out of the way location. If you need a restaurant or access to any kind of store, be prepared to drive a long ways to get there. However, the management was incredibly rude and difficult to deal with. The owner spoke sufficient english the first night of our stay,... More

Since my review in May 2012, the hotel has indeed changed hands and it is not the same as it was BUT different owners are entitled to run the hotel in a different way. We stayed for 6 days in April 2014, taking advantage of a Springtime offer which included one free night. We were initially disappointed that the restaurant... More

Perhaps I should have written this review earlier, but the review dated 30th October exactly mirrors our experience. Having stayed at this hotel most years since 1982, our stay in April 2013 was disappointing to say the least. The unkempt garden on arrival was the first sign that all was not well. Although we did not request breakfast in our... More

This hotel changed hands in 2013. It is no longer in the Relais de Silence association. We have visited this modest hotel many times in the past and, when we arrived for a few days there in September this year, expected to receive the same warm welcome, careful attention to detail and excellent food that we had enjoyed previously. Sadly,... More

we were in the midst of a 200 mile trek from Manosque to Langogne on the GR4 (and GR6, GR9 and many PR trails as well) and the Hotel Bellerive was a welcome respite. We had hiked 16 miles that hot September day, and had to add a little under a mile to find the hotel which is just south... More

The view is the best thing about this hotel - rooms are dated and the bathroom became a swimming pool when you showered- food only fair and very pricey- only sell a Dutch beer and in small bottles - also overpriced- pool nice but cold- tinned peaches at breakfast!! - also over priced Staff pleasant
