We were so lucky to find this place - and to get the best room, with stunning views from 3 windows - as we turned up, late at night, with no booking. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The highlight of our tour of the Peloponnese - and an unexpected treat, as we were resigned to only finding a basic... More

Wonderful boutique hotel, with only 6 rooms, located in the most charming village of Mani. This historical building is excellently renovated, with respect to the local architecture. A unique combination of traditional materials and luxurious modern comfort integrates the atmosphere. The hospitality of the stuff, made us feel like home. One of my favorite places! Tips: wake up early, so... More

Limeni is a unique place. It is like being in an island but at the same time it is not so packed of tourists. Mavromihalai is a very nice traditional hotel with an amazing sea view. The rooms is right on the cliffs so you can sleep and listen to the sounds of waves. The staff is very polite. The... More

Stayed for a couple of nights while exploring the greater Mani area. Right on the beachfront, a beautiful little castle-hotel overflowing with character due to its rich history. Every piece of furniture is a special antique selected carefully to match the surroundings. The staff were knowledgeable and helped us plan our sightseeing around the area. Will definately look to stay... More

Gorgeous view from the terrace and some rooms, very friendly staff, ideal location, delicious food. Some very good fresh-fish tavernas close-by. Some rooms are smaller than the others so when you book, make sure you choose what you prefer.

We stayed in this hotel with some friends. The location is superb and the old building really well renovated. The room was spacious and well equipped. However, there was no view as there were 3 very small windows in close to the floor. Atmospheric but a bit on the dark side. Also the vaulted roof was low due to the original... More

If you plan visiting Mani you should by all means count in this boutique hotel even for one night. I would call it a pilgrimage visit to a historic -18th century tower-mansion, the residence of Petrobeis Mavromichalai, the leader of the Hellenic war of independence against Ottoman Turks in 1821. THE RUINED TOWER: The entire building made of stone and... More

There is nothing more satisfying that living trhough the Full Historiciy of a magical place such as Mani. And living in a historical building adds on this by far. Moving your steps where Petrobeis Mavromihalis was sitting for glazing the deep blue of the wild sea in front of his house or sleeping at night and listening to the sound... More

i wouldn't even call this place a hotel. it's a big stone-built house that looked like a mansion of some very hospitable greek family, it seemed like they still were living there, as even the common spaces were decorated in this family-home cozy style. much effort was given to restore this unique atmosphere of the old times, and the owners...
