Stayed there are 2 nights. Beautiful view and surroundings from the hotel area. Rooms were not good. Poor standard, and bathroom are from the 70's and had not been refurbished since. Breakfast was good, but the opening hours on weekends are a joke. Open 0700-1000 on a weekend !!! We stayed 2 adults and 1 child. On Sunday we got... More

Been there several times. The view and location are great. Hotel has good reputation, but I can't understand why the buffet would have so much fish on one side and low quality warm courses on the other, and consistently the same ones. Same for the desserts. Less enormours heavy juicy mousse/cakes, more ice creams and fruit! Personal is working well... More

The first thing that I must say is that I was totally mesmerized by the scenery that this hotel offers. Thumbs up! With great fresh air! I would say the hotel is a nice and cosy one with quite a modernly designed room of a size that is just nice for me who was staying alone. It might be on... More

We are a family with 2 teenagers. Service from reception to restaurant was good. Especially at the restaurant. The staff sre mostly foreigner-workers Who are keen to make u trip pleasant. Good food with excellent view indoor or outdoor. Kids' friendship environment. Pool looks a bit dirty. The room was simple, Small TV but baderoom a bit old fashion. Bed... More

Check out the restaurant reviews before booking: 18 UKP for a cold packet hamburger with macdonalt chip substitues, 45 pounds for a 'buffet' self service breakfast means 'collect your own clean cutlery and serviettes fro the other vacated tables'' The restaurant is a skam for both dinner and breakfast. better food, service and value at the petrol station across the... A rather small and "warm" hotel, situated by, and overlooking the beautiful Hardanger Fjord. Excellent service performed by nice people used to take good care of their customers. Tasty food based on lokal ingredienses really trilled the palate.. Will not be my last stop there.

The frontage of the hotel is not very inspiring at first glance, but inside is a more welcoming appearance. The bedroom and bathroom was spacious and clean. However the bedroom was rather airless and the patio-style door had to be left ajar overnight to keep cool. The door frame needed some attention as it seemed rather loose! There was a... More

We stayed in the hotel on 13-05-10, there were hardly any tourist (about 15), the room was scruffy, the curtains were hanging partly loose from the rail. The staff were unfriendly, we could only eat the set menu which wasn't worth money (extremely expensive and badly prepaired) So don't waste your time in try somewhere else. All amenities were closed!

Stayed for one night. Nice surroundings, okay swimming pool, old equipment in fitness room. Childrens playroom was closed and used for storage, Mediocre room, stains on carpet, bathroom in need of upgrade, rotten panels outside room, mediocre breakfast. Has a "per person" price policy, making it very expensive for us (2 adults and 1 teenager): NOK 2775 / EUR 307... More
